The wonderful host Manolis contacted me before our trip to check when we would arrive and even though it was late in the evening, met us at the villa to give us the keys and a tour of the property; this included a lovely and thoughtful welcome pack of food supplies including bread, milk, water, homemade jams and cakes along with delicious Greek wine! He is incredibly kind and helpful, telling us about the local area, recommending restaurants (Platanos in Lachania is a true Greek highlight) and available for questions if you need a little assistance; an excellent host makes the stay even more enjoyable! The villa has beautiful views, stunning garden and a kitchen that includes everything you need. We cooked a BBQ for a couple of nights with supplies from the supermarket in Gennadi as it has a good little butchers inside, but I would say Sofia Supermarket in Kiotari is a bit larger with more reasonably priced goods. The pool is an absolute highlight, I always thought we were beach people as we are lucky to live close to sandy beaches in the UK, but we almost lived in the pool at White Blue Villa, it has completely converted us! Lindos is only a 30 minute drive and I recommend to park at the top of the hill and walk down to save your heartrate and sanity! Lindos is beautiful with a sandy beach, shops and array of restaurants, I visited 25 years ago and was pleased my recent visit reassured me that my memories of the village were not fantasy! Rhodes Old Town is also great for shopping; if you are driving then park at the free parking and take the free bus in. I highly recommend staying at White Blue Villa in Lachania, it is equipped with everything you need and the outside shower is a bonus, we were so sad to leave and wish all future visitors an enjoyable time like ours!
It is just off a main road but one that is not that busy, the cacophony of crickets drown out the noise of the cars!

Wir wurden an unserem Ankunftstag sehr herzlich von der Vermieterin empfangen. Es standen Obst und kleine Leckereien bereit. Alles war so wie auf Booking.com beschrieben wurde. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gab mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten, einen kleinen Garten und einen blitzsauberen Pool.

Property was amazing, have everything wat we needed.
Kitchen have all the needed accessories, pool located in front off the house where is 2 places with seating, dining table. We only vent to restaurant twice in 11 day stay because we so enjoyed to prep and cook food at the property.
At the back of the Vila is fireplace with bbq grill where you can cook your food and enjoy burning wood fire.
Down by the pool you have sound loungers to chill and get some tan.
Every day chilling by the pool you still have an ocean view which is amazing.
Rooms a clean and nothing can beat a white and blue colors.
And we were welcomed with Vine, snacks, water , fruits, and lots of small things which was very kind.
It’s just 5min from the Vila to the beach were we met every sunset and enjoy the meditation and was picking sow beutifull stones.
Definitely one of the best experiences I have in my quite Hudge traveling journey and we definitely coming back next year. ❤️❤️❤️
