Located on the edge of Jardines de Calahonda, a lovely and well established garden development, there is an inviting swimming pool with loungers and communal parking. The complex is conveniently located between Marbella and Fuengirola with easy access to the main road and the several golf courses in the area.

Beautiful newly reformed 2 bedroom apartment offering a brand new modern well planned kitchen and bathroom.

The apartment is in a small block of just 7 apartments. It is bright and airy with windows on 3 sides. Situated on the 3rd floor, it benefits from lovely views to the sea and over woodland and beautifully maintained gardens.

The south facing balcony is a lovely private space to relax, enjoy the views and make the most of the wonderful sunny climate. It has a dining table with four comfortable chairs and a gas BBQ. Perfect for meals outside and enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine or G&T.

The apartment comprises 2 good sized, stylishly decorated bedrooms, each with plenty of storage. Both are bright and airy with stunning arched windows and lovely views. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has two single beds which can be put together to make it a super king size. We provide linens and towels, including beach towels, for all guests.

There is available a travel cot which could be set in any room, and also a high chair.

The living room has a comfortable sofa and a 43 "Smart TV with international channels. It has many English and American channels plus a selection from other countries including Germany, France, Russia, Arabia to name a few.

There is AC / heating and a good wifi connection is included.

The kitchen is exceptionally well equiped with everything you need to enjoy a self catering holiday. It has newly fitted quality fittings including an induction stove, large fridge / freezer, microwave, full size oven and dishwasher, kettle, toaster and a choice of coffee machines including a Dolce Gusto coffee maker. There is a full compliment of glasses, dishes, pans, pots and cooking utensils.

A useful utility area adjacent to the kitchen includes a full sized washing machine and drying facilities as well as all essential cleaning equipment.

Free street parking which belongs to the community is available outside the apartment

Please note the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. It is therefore, unfortunately, not suitable for anyone with limited mobility.

Site of Calahonda is a tranquil urbanization with unspoiled beaches and the famous boardwalk which extends through the beach from La Cala de Mijas to Cabopino port. Puerto Banús is only a 15 minutes drive away from the apartment.

You can walk to La Luna Playa in just 10 minutes through a lovely shaded woodland nature trail or follow the path through the lovely gardens of Los Jardines de Calahonda. Both routes bring you to a walkway straight to La Luna Playa and it's wonderful beach and Chiringuito.

A 15 minute walk along the shaded woodland trail or down Avenida España with it's lovely villas brings you to a plaza where you can find everything you need. There you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and bars and even medical facilities as well as two well stocked supermarkets.

Bar 97 is a 2 minute walk and offers warm welcome and food and refreshments on their terrace with views of the sea.

A car is not essential when staying at Caserío as there is a wide range of facities within walking distance of the apartment.

To get to the apartment from the airport, you can catch the train from there to Fuengirola, and get a taxi to the apartment (less than € 30) or you can get the bus from Fuengirola to Sitio de Calahonda.

If you'd like to visit nearby cities, you can get on the bus which stops close from the apartment and runs every half an hour to Marbella on one direction and to La Cala de Mijas and Fuengirola on the other. From Fuengirola you can use the train to visit Benalmádena, Torremolinos or Málaga.
