El Mural Backpacker Hostel was the best hostel during my trip to Peru. The rooms are very nice and quiet. The huge terrace is an amazing common area where you can relax and even work out. There is also a large, well-equipped kitchen, and the fruit market is just a few minutes from the hostel. The breakfast is amazing, and the staff are super friendly too. I loved spending time here and I warmly recommend it!

Lively communal areas, cheap private room, helpful staff
The included breakfast was just a bowl of fruit and fruit juice, which was fine, just not very much and it wasn’t really clear that this is what was included

There's lots of space, a great terrace and since it's not on a main road it's less noisy than elsewhere, nice people
The bed was too soft, almost like an empty mattress. But some people like soft so it's just a personal preference.
Big no for the plastic plates and bowls in the kitchen.
