The staff were lovely, the place was quiet and comfortable and safe. The place was a good price and large for the price. It was very comfortable and restful.

Nothing really construction made it hard to get to, but that will not be a forever problem. The neighborhood was safe and the place we got for the price was definately worth it.

The property is in a nice area and was very clean, which I appreciated.

There are a few concerns I’d like to raise. To get warm water in the shower, the kitchen tap must first be opened, which is inconvenient and suggests a plumbing issue. The placement of the clothing rack was also impractical, especially considering the space is needed for luggage. The shower has no door, which compromises privacy and comfort. The WiFi connection was unreliable, and although it’s a smart TV, Netflix wasn’t accessible. Lastly, while I understand load shedding is not within your control, it happened during checkout, which made things even more challenging and I couldn’t even bath before leaving, which was quite frustrating.

Both the room and bathroom were very spacious and kept clean daily. Dorothy was kind and helpful.

The main door to the poolside unit was broken so it only locked from the inside but not from the outside. Therefore if you left the unit only the trellis gate locked but the door remained ajar. The unit was kept clean however, it is old and it's evident that maintenance of the infrastructure has not been kept up to date e.g., the sliding door separating the bedroom and bathroom is completely broken so there is no privacy, one side of the bedroom wall needs to be painted (looks like they plastered around a door that leads to another room but never painted that wall), the TV didn't work, and the taps were tricky - especially the one for the bathroom sink. The tap was loose and the hot water only trickled out a little. I didn't spend much time at the accommodation because I had to leave very early and I returned very late at night otherwise I would have brought all of this to Dorothy's / the owner's attention.
