The front door opens into the hall, with stairs to the first floor and a door in to an attractive and cosy sitting room, with comfortable furniture and a feature fireplace with a wood burner. Doors lead into a spacious Kitchen/Diner which has a selection of units, electric fan oven with fitted microwave above, halogen hob and an extending dining table and chairs. This is a particularly light room with windows overlooking the rear garden and Velux windows giving ample natural light. Off the kitchen is a utility area with a fridge/freezer and washing machine and adjacent to the utility area is a bathroom with a bath with overhead shower, W.C. and wash hand basin. Off the kitchen is a lobby area, with ample storage space for coats and shoes and giving access to the rear garden.
Upstairs, the delightful main bedroom has a king size bed and fitted wardrobes, bedroom 2 has two 3’ single beds and overlooks the rear garden and bedroom 3 is a pleasant smaller double room. There is a Shower Room with shower cubicle, W.C. and wash hand basin.
From the first floor landing, a spiral staircase with wide timber treads, leads up to the second floor, where there is a lovely spacious fourth bedroom which has a king size bed, made up of two 2’6 single beds which can be unzipped to form a twin bedded room. Velux windows offer lovely views towards the Castle. There is an adjoining W.C. and wash basin.
The front garden is enclosed with a Purbeck stone wall and has mature shrubs. The enclosed rear garden has mature shrubs and has garden furniture, providing a perfect spot to relax after a busy day exploring. A path and lawn area lead to a gate, through which there is a paved area with parking for 2 cars.
Corfe View is a well equipped cottage, with all you need for an enjoyable holiday. There are numerous walks from the doorstep and it is a short drive to some of the best beaches and nearby attractions and provides an ideal base from which to explore the stunning Purbeck area.
