The tent itself was ok, as was the equipment. The courier was very helpful, despite his hands being tied, he tried to help us. He provided us with free towels and bed linen.

Our priority was accommodation by the beach, so we were really disappointed. The tent was at least 350 meters from the beach even though the setting was advertised as being 150 meters from Valkanela beach. Also, only 10 ml of soap was provided for four people for two days. We didn't get the tent we reserved. The surroundings were quite untidy, nothing like the picture. When we asked for a refund, we were refused, despite the provided pictures of the reservation as proof. Despite paying, we left early.

Very nice location. And clean camping. Good place to park your car and the tent is not directly in the hot sun. Very nice big fridge with freeze compartment.

Beds where not very comfortable. And small. No fire extinguisher! Safety is important.

Long 10 days in a tent

Access to pool,cos kids liked. Restrooms always clean. Variety of restaurants,lot of shade.

Lady who let us in tent was polite. But she couldnt figure out why we got plain tent instead of safary tent..so she comforted us with stereotipe centences. I wasnt prepared for 11 days of tent with my 3 small kids cos on booking had nice pictures of safary tent with beds,linnen.. 5 days 1 of safary tents was empty, next to us but she didnt offer to us,even I said we would pay difference.. In same time,same facility but owened by campside was for same money we payed for poor plain tent. So no more bookings beside phonecall on site.

Great time, lot of sun

Clean tent, well equipped, nice camping, lot of things for little kids.

Our tent no. 1575 was to close to road and it was noisy in the morning. There should be sink in each tent.

Proximity to everything. The cabin was very cosy. There is a lot of extra activities you can do in the camp.

Not enough shade on the beach for the kids, sea weed and sea urchins. Problems with ants in the tent/cabin, and 2 cut off logs at the parking for 1 car making it difficult to park

Vacation under the trees

Location of the property is superb. Just long enough away from the beach and the beach bars and surrounded by pine trees. Kitchen was ok to cook something quick and simple, it was also nicely equipped with kitchen accessories.

The tent needs deep outside and inside cleaning, pillows and blankets are really bad.

Valkanela camping is a good camping. But this is outside my evaluation because the service I have payed for, through booking.com, was the accomodation, in a costly "safari tent".

The safari tent, sold by the subsidiary at Valkanela called "easy tent", was ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH the money. I payed 160 Euro per night and my expectation was to have a first class service. At arrival, valkanela charged me for city tax, which was a service already payed, according to booking.com receipt, for 76,94 HRK. Mss Petra at reception sayed it was an error of booking.com, so I was forced to pay. To clarify the situation I Called booking.com operator and asked what to do but I had no feedback upon departure. The tent was not perfeclty cleaned. neither brand new, nor in perfect order, as you can expect for a 160 Euro/day service. The manager of "easy tent" Mateo over-stressed that, in case I should have not made accurate cleaning, expecially the bath, at the end of stay, 45 Euro should have been kept from the cautionary deposit (100 Euro). He said also that the cost for cleaning reported on booking.com (saying 40 Euro) was out-dated. Again, not worth the money, stay away from this service. Never ever ever!

During the week a perfect place but beware... Weekend is a corny disco nightmare

Camping is beautiful and facilities are really good. In the middle of everything

Friday and Saturday there is a lot of noise from a nearby disco(off camping ground.) This is horrible sleeping in the tent and goes against the whole idea of camping. It goes on till 4:00 and you can pretty much sing along with the songs. Me and my girl are used to noise having lived above a bar till recently so with ear plugs it was manageble. But it's insane off season, thousend camping guest for resting vacation and then terrible corny music... I must note that Sunday till Thursday are perfect and quite and how it should be so the contrast makes it extra bad

la sistemazione è molto carina, abbastanza vicina ai servizi e alla spiaggia. il personale molto gentile ha accolto la mia richiesta di scegliere una tenda diversa da quella che ci hanno proposto inizialmente per la posizione migliore

la tenda ha molte fessure dalle quali possono entrare gli insetti, la zona notte è un po' impolverata

Soggiorno sereno, infestazione di formiche a parte!

Bella tenda, dotata di tutte le attrezzature necessarie, comoda per max 4 persone a mio parere. Troppo permeabile agli insetti, a partire dalle assi del pavimento con fessure fino ai fori nella tenda per fare passare la struttura.

Pulizia pessima, sporcizia e ragnatele ovunque che ho rimosso all'arrivo, poi infestazione di formiche nella tenda: giornata di arrivo davvero orribile. Intervento dello staff con veleno e pulizie fino alle 22.45. Tutto con due bimbe di 3 e 9 in viaggio dal mattino.
