everything. The hostess is probably the most polite and friendly person we met in our travellings, always there within minutes to provide help and useful tips. We returned from our excursions every day to find freshly baked cake and snacks in the fridge. The stone house is clean to the spot and offers you the beautiful experience of living in a Cycladic island for a few days. Location is ideal as is close to the road (Pano Terma), whereas there is easy access for taxi, that take you to Ermoupoli, Vaporia or even to beaches. Iosifina, a big thank you. I would like to return one day.

We had a wonderful stay at Fimaira. Unfortunately we missed the main season by a week, so almost all restaurants and cafes in Ano Syros were closed. On the bright side, this meant that we could enjoy the pretty streets surroundig the accomodation by ourselves. You don't need a rental car on Syros as there is a very cheap and efficient taxi service (getting from Ano Syros to Ermoupoli was 6€ for example).

We found the spring mattresses in the bedrooms a bit uncomfortable, as we all generally prefer softer beds.

An amazing setting which was so relaxing and peaceful. The jacuzzi really makes the most of the view and made it a very memorable stay. The hosts were lovely, so kind and helpful. Set in Ano Syros above the main town in a charming area of winding stepped streets with some boutique shops, bars and restaurants it was so picturesque. you can walk down the stepped streets to the bustling town Ermopouli port/bus station which takes about 25 minutes, but a taxi only costs 5/6 euros anyway. I really loved this accommodation and the wonderful terrace listening to the goats bells, and watching the swallows was very special. Clean and spacious accommodation, the owner also often left a home-baked treats for us too! A would definitely recommend staying here.

Fimaira is an excellent place to relax and ideally located for Ano Syros exploration.
