    Good: hip area/location, basic breakfast (eggs, toast, coffee, spreads), generally clean, staff speak English and were friendly on check in, otherwise didn't really talk to them much, QR code washer and dryer, free communal umbrella borrowing Other: sauna isn't free. Lots of beds per room (so noise can be an issue), very small//limited padlock storage area inside the bed/capsule, room was very hot at night. Price just ok (though it was golden week). Common area downstairs is the cafe/bar, common area upstairs is a small kitchen and not that social.

    I really liked my stay here overall. The mattress was comfortable, and even with bunk beds, each space still had enough room to store things. Luggage is kept in a common area, but inside your cubicle you can still organize your stuff well. The main downside for me was my bed location. I was near the door, shoe area, and luggage space, so my sleep was often interrupted by people packing or unpacking, especially during quiet hours. Some guests were not considerate, and it would easily wake you up. I think the hostel could be stricter about enforcing quiet time, especially when it comes to packing inside the room. Temperature was also inconsistent. One night it was very warm, and even other guests agreed. I asked the staff to adjust the AC, but they set it to 25°C, which still felt hot. Lower bunk beds also tend to feel warmer, so you may need to keep part of your curtain open for airflow. On the positive side, the shower, toilets, and amenities were all good. The common room is a bit small, but there’s a café downstairs that makes up for it—the food and coffee there are really good. I even preferred it over the free breakfast. Location is great—very close to the train station and convenience stores. Overall, I still had a good stay and would consider coming back, but I’d request a bed away from the door next time.

    The good points: great atmosphere for meeting other travelers, they host events on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Also the location is a super fun area The bad points: really not very clean, esp for Japan. The room I was in had an awful odor. Also the bunk curtains do little to block light and the lights do not turn off, so it’s bright as day all night long. Bring a sleep mask!!
