The location was great. The shutters on the windows kept a lot of the heat out during the heat wave, and fans inside helped too. The owners were very helpful and kept in contact. There is a lot of free car parking in Auch. We were able to self cater with the facilities in the apartment and there were nice places in Auch to go out to eat also.
It would have been great to have air conditioning during the heat wave. There is no dedicated car parking for this apartment and the nearby car park fills up very quickly so we had to park the car about a 10 min walk away - this was fine for us but may be an issue for others.
