Exceptional views, peaceful and a great base for a family holiday

As a family with 2 teenagers, this house was perfect for us. Stunning views of the mountains from the balcony (and every window!). Extremely peaceful but a 20 minute walk to the village and shops. Numerous, well sign-posted walks / lake for activities and swimming on your doorstep. A visit to the Ottenalm mountain hut is recommended - homemade apple strudel a must! (Note, always make sure have cash on you for huts etc. as there are some places that don't take cards). The house was like a home - traditional charm/good bathrooms, spacious and full of everything we needed and more. Maic and Karsten were so kind, welcoming and helpful - they also provided us with Kaiserwinkl cards for free parking/discounted activities in the area. A short drive to the Zahmer Kaiser cable-car, circular walk to Aschingeralm hut (watch days open in summer) and toboggan ride down was well worth doing with kids/teenagers (we walked from the parking near middle station which made it cheaper). We only visited for 4 days and wished we had stayed much longer. It is a really beautiful area and we absolutely loved it - we will be back! Thank you M&K.

It's overall a very cosy, mountain home with a history, as you can expect it in Tyrol :-)

The hosts were very helpful and easy to reach for all questions, arrival (by GPS) not a problem. Great option for a family! The appartment has all you need, two of the bedrooms with an own bedroom, plus a single room.... perfect for us (family with two kids and another adult relative travelling). It is located in a spectacular mountain scenery, quiet and with beautiful nature around.

I didn't give the top grade (but still very good) for the somehow a bit dated facilities and maybe for a full family rather small kitchen (in case you want to cook/eat at home, which wasnt an issue for us anyway), but I should also emphasize all was totally in shape, clean and well-maintained. Also, for the price-for-money, all newly refurbished facilities isn't what one would expect anyway.

Top ausgestattet, sehr sauber. Viel Platz für die ganze Familie. Parken direkt vor der Tür. Ruhige Lage und nur wenige Minuten entfernt von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Rodelbahnen und anderen Aktivitäten. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die bei Fragen oder Problemen jederzeit erreichbar sind.

Meget venlige værter som tog imod os som var vi familie. Beliggenheden ligger trukket lidt væk fra byens trafiklarm og med den mest vidunderlige udsigt fra altanen. Derudover var der køer med bjælder i baghaven til glæde for børnene.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit tollem Ausblick und sehr netten Gastgebern

Die Unterkunft, die etwas abseits vom Zentrum auf einer Anhöhe liegt, hat einen traumhaften Ausblick. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich. Wir haben uns äußerst wohl gefühlt.

Es gibt nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Cette petite maison exceptionelle et ses hôtes nous ont enchantés. Super logement pour skieurs.

L'emplacement était parfait, le logement se situe 40 minutes des pistes Hinterglemm / Saalbach en voiture, et 5 mins du lac de Walchsee. La maison était super propre, la cuisine tres bien équippée et moderne. Les hôtes étaient tres tres gentils, nous aidaient avec des conseils et ils étaient tres gentils avec les enfants.

Il n'y avait aucun probleme, vraiment rien de négatif.
