Pensiunea La Moară

The location is great beside a river. The backyard is huge and you can relax and play with the kids. Food was great like at grandma house.

No air conditioning and no musquito nets at the windows.

The place is amazing, green area, little village. The room was comfortable with all you need. Coffee and water at your disposal. In the restaurant you have everything you need, water, wine and the Romanian alcohol as you wish. The ladies that manage the restaurant are super nice and at your disposal. Breakfast was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately we stayed only one night.

Everything was great… I really can’t find anything to write here.

The property is very traditional, classy, nicely designed and comfortable. To complement this attributes the homemade cooking and flavours were incredibile and in large quantity

Our large family group, gathered from different parts of the USA and Romania, felt instantly at home at La Moara. The property is beautiful, the buildings full of character, and the surrounding area absolutely stunning. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect place for a family reunion. One of our favorite spots was the small house with the traditional oven and stove — it has a wonderful old‑world charm that makes you feel connected to the history of Bucovina. We also loved starting each morning on the wraparound porch, sipping coffee while taking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the countryside. Having the river right next to the property added a peaceful rhythm to our days. The nearby forest was a revelation — incredibly clean air, a dramatic change from city life. You can literally smell the nature. Our group did several hikes in the hills, picked wild berries until we couldn’t carry any more, and came back feeling recharged. The ATVs were a huge plus as well; we rented them and explored the forestry roads, which turned into one of the most fun activities of our stay. Evenings were just as memorable. We often ended the day gathered around a bonfire while part of the group played competitive badminton on La Moara’s court. As the fire died down, we’d look up at a snowglobe‑like night sky filled with millions of visible stars and the occasional satellite gliding across. It was magical. And then there was the food — truly exceptional. The kitchen staff prepared traditional dishes from Bucovina and Moldova, along with homemade palincă and afinată that everyone loved. A special thank‑you to Doina, who treated us like visiting relatives. She was warm, attentive, and made sure every single person was well fed and happy. Last but not least, we have to mention Bobiță, the property’s adorable mascot. This small dog greeted us with enthusiasm every day and happily wandered around the yard keeping us company. La Moara gave us everything we hoped for and
