The receptionists were really nice, and the room was super clean! A big plus is that they offer baggage storage which allowed me to take a day trip around the city. The AC also worked really well which is super important in the summer. The place is a short walk away from a metro station

there weren't many options at breakfast (but maybe it's because I was there on a weekend).

Domus Helena offers clean and tidy accommodation in a minimalist fashion - you honestly don't need more. Location very convenient with a metro station closely and a variety of restaurants and ahops. Breakfast was good too and staff generally very friendly and helpful.

Bed was a bit on the thin side, but the positives far outweigh this

Definite advantage of this place - is its location. The hotel is situated in the main city area, just 5-7 mins walk from the Rome's Central Railway Station (Roma Termini) which is very convenient if you travel by train or if you have to catch a plane later on because the is an express going to the airport from that station as well. Other then that I'd note several good supermarkets near by the hotel and couple cafes where you can have a dinner. Breakfast was nothing fancy but also pretty good. Over all the hotel left a good impression.

I'd say that generally the hotel spaces are pretty clean and good looking, however, the rooms are a bit too small and kind of empty which makes them look not as cozy as you'd want to. Some parts of the shower room looked like they need to be fixed even though everything was working and the water was running. One of the biggest disadvantages I believe is that there was no fridge which makes it very uncomfortable and you have no place to store any groceries if you have any or you can't cool any of your drinks. In general I had a feeling that the place is a little bit overpriced but I enjoyed my stay
