Awesome Home In Mijas

La estancia en esta vivienda ha sido estupenda. La casa, el patio y la piscina estan muy limpias. La casa es grande y muy cómoda y la piscina es genial. Es exactamente igual a las fotos. Los dueños son muy amables, nos ayudaron rápidamente cuando nos perdimos. Seguro que volveremos.

Lo que menos nos gustó fue el acceso a la vivienda, ya que la carretera es estrecha y con curvas, pero, sin lugar a dudas, merece la pena.

We loved the large villa with a large pool, it had a very homely feel about it. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens surrounding the whole property, you can walk 360 around the villa and it’s fully enclosed and secure.

There is a lot of dogs in the area that bark a lot but nothing too close to bother you relaxing sunbathing by the pool etc. There was a lot of mosquito’s so it’s best to start taking antihistamines a week before you arrive and during your stay and bring some mosquito spray/H45 for a deterrent/aftercare. The walk into Mijas pueblo is very steep and the taxis in the area are not very good. You can try an Uber via the app from Fuengirola however they’re not very reliable and often keep cancelling your order so your best taking the bus and the bottom of the villas lane (3 minute walk). It’s only €1.55 and a 5-10 minute ride on a mini bus into Mijas pueblo (Los Pedogolas is your stop). Scan the QR code at the bus stop for live updates. The buses run daily between about 8:30-7:00pm approximately roughly every hour and a half in MP. You’ll need to get a taxi back if you haven’t hired a car from the taxi rank on Plaza de virgin de Pena across from the town hall. It’s first come first served, you normally never wait long and will cost you €8 back including a tip. We’d happily stay in the villa again. It’s a home away from home. Happy holidays.
