Lovely Apartment In La Cala De Mijas

For context we stayed here for a month through February. Its location and roof terrace were major plus points. It was very comfortable with air con in every room, plus an electric heater and two fans. The facilities and utensils might seem a little dated to some but it’s all functional. Great shower pressure, very clean. The property is managed by a company not too far away in La Cala. They are called Home Care and are excellent. Lovely people and very responsive if you have a query. They could not be faulted and they have your back if there is a problem. Their cleaners particularly Monica is first class and very thorough, a lovely lady too.

Now I’m struggling - here goes. No oven gloves (but Home Care resolved that). Mishmash of cutlery and glasses. Kitchen knives not too sharp. I suppose typical of a holiday rental property.

Only one bath towel person and no change if bed linen. Meaning they had to be washed dried within the day.

Fantastic roof terrace with sun the whole day. Great location, super market 2 mins away. Cala town centre 10 mins walk.

All of the furniture was old and tired. Out door furniture worn-out or broken. Only Spanish TV working, WiFi password unreadable. Coffee maker with out filters. Homecare strip the property between guests. Not leaving salt and pepper...
