Heerlijk dat er bij the tiny lodge een sauna en hottub zit. Echt heerlijk genoten.

Hyggeligt feriehus (nr. 28) med to værelser og lille hyggelig stue samt køkken med al udstyr incl. opvaskemaskine. Goodiebag ved ankomst med opvaskebørste, klude m.m. Gode senge med fine madrasser. Stort klædeskab. Støvsuger. Fint opholdsareal udendørs under tag med stole og fyrfadslys. Dejlig opvarmet pool og dejligt område. Udflugten om søndagen i området kan anbefales.

Håndtaget til fryseren var i stykker, men vi kunne dog åbne det. Det blev noteret i receptionen samme dag. Lampeudtaget i stuen var i stykker/hang løs, vi har gjort stedet opmærksom på det. Blev dog blot henvist af en receptionist til at anmelde det med lampestedet via appen - det gjorde vi, men der var ikke mulighed for at uploade fotoet, som de bad os om.

We really enjoyed our stay at Berkenlodge 44. It was conveniently close to the pool and the restaurant. The restaurant closes at 9 PM so it’s very quiet after that. It’s in a lovely area, with the forest within walking distance. We really appreciated that there is a free parking lot on the premises for visitors. All of the staff was really friendly and helpful, if not understaffed... Everyone was friendly and polite.

They seemed to have some staffing issues - the house was not ready yet at 4 PM when we were supposed to check in, with no heads up whatsoever. The reception guy seemed to be completely by himself, and there was a big queue around 3 PM (when people started arriving, hoping they could check in earlier). Kudos to him for keeping his cool, and keep smiling. The house was clean apart from the dead insects splattered on the walls. Please, just buy a can of Alabastine white paint spray. And provide electric rackets instead of plastic fly swatters. It would have been nice to be able to rent a Nespresso machine. The digital lock was tricky to figure out, but we got it working (we saw our neighbours having the same startup issue). The pool is very small, on a hot day it’s packed and there is no way you can swim some laps. The food in the brasserie was underwhelming and overpriced. The vegetarian version of the salad was the same price, but hardly a meal. And weird to not have any alternatives to cow's milk in the year 2026.

de Hottub werkte niet, het was muis in het keuken, de ketel werkt niet, in de ochtend om 9 uur zijn ze begonnen met veel lawaai te werken in andere vakantiehuizen om daar schoon te maken
