MarySol 6 terrace with sea views, close to the sea

La amabilidad de la anfitriona. Estaba pendiente de nosotras en todo momento. Nos facilitó sombrilla para que no nos quemáramos en la playa, todo un detalle. El apartamento se encuentra en un punto de Lanzarote muy tranquilo y con vistas al mar, fundamental para quienes buscamos relajación. Próximo a los Jameos del agua y Las Cuevas de los Verdes. Con seguridad que volveremos. Gracias por todo Marisol y Enrique.

Por decir algo, las casas que teníamos delante de la terraza, nos quitaban vistas del mar.

The location of this apartment is amazing. It's almost front line, and the view of the sea and mountains/volcanoes is beautiful (when it's not really cloudy!). Punta Mujeres is a gorgeous little town to walk around, with a few restaurants. Make sure you check out the natural swimming pools. There is a very cheap sociedad (restaurant and bar) within a stone's throw of the apartment, which gets really popular and busy at times. Number 6 is an upstairs apartment, which was ideal for me. To be honest, I don't think I'd have liked being downstairs as much due to a lack of privacy on the terrace with people walking past. It had almost everything I needed! There was shower gel, washing up liquid, cloths, condiments, etc. I took my laptop to do some work, and the wifi was ok, although I had to connect to my phone a few times as it cut out sometimes. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large, comfortable bed, and the second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a washing machine in the apartment, and the terrace has an outside table with chairs and a parasol. There are two sunbeds on the terrace, which seem a bit old, but they are ok. There is on-street parking just outside this apartment, which is definitely a plus for this area. Some of the streets are very narrow or don't have parking, so if you have a lot of luggage, bear this in mind.

There were only a few minor things stopping me from leaving a higher review. I really missed a kettle. There was a filter coffee machine, but no filter or filter coffee. I had taken some instant with me, and I was able to make a coffee in the microwave, but a kettle would be a great addition. Curtains in the bedrooms would also be good. There are shutters, which are great, so you can close those and leave the windows open, allowing for a nice breeze and the sound of the ocean. However, they let quite a lot of light in in the morning, so some curtains would have been great. I ended up pegging the tablecloth over the window to keep some of the light out. A fan would also have been welcome, as well as a beach towel or larger towel for the sunbed.

Gute Ausstattung und optimaler Zuschnitt des Apartments. Bequemes Bett. Unkomplizierter Kontakt. Nah am Meer. Parkplätze vor der Tür. Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im Nordteil von Lanzarote und La Graciosa. Nette Gastgeberin, die bei der Ankunft zwar abwesend war, uns aber an einem der folgenden Tage persönlich begrüßte. Außerdem war der Apartment am Vortag frei und wir durften schon am Morgen anreisen - sowas ist nicht selbstverständlich!

Direkt neben dem Apartment befindet sich das lokale Sport- und Kulturzentrum. Während Punta Mujeres an sich ruhig ist, ist diese Ecke abends oft bis spät in die Nacht laut. Den Kindern auf dem Sportplatz gönnen wir es, aber laut rufende ältere Herrschaften vom beleuchteten Boule-Platz haben uns stets gestört.
