Central, secure, clean and heritage vibe. Great value.
It was pretty quiet except for hearing an early morning sexual encounter from next door; but I didn’t hear any early morning vehicles leaving.

We had our evening meal in the bistro, very nice, good value

Well located, easy walk to shops, nice pub with bistro for dinner.
They have only just restarted serving breakfast so it wasn’t particularly good, no gluten free bread - although the bistro has it so not sure why they couldn’t get some. “Free parking” turns out to be on the street if you’re slepping it in the hotel part. I’m sure I could have found a space in the carpark for my bike that didn’t take up a car space but apparently too hard. Any bikers should stay in the newer section if you want covered parking. The hotel room itself was pretty tired. Wifi was slow. Not very good value for money.
