Degirmenburnu Residence

This was our second family holiday at Değirmenburnu, and once again, we had a very pleasant stay. This is a well-appointed and thoughtfully designed property in an excellent location, perfectly positioned between central Bodrum on one side and Gümbet and Bitez on the other. The property offers both spacious hotel-style rooms and apartments. This time, we chose a hotel-style room, which was perfectly comfortable for three people and offered fantastic views over Bardakçı Bay. The room was a good size and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were extremely helpful and responded promptly to all our requests. There is also a small swimming pool, which is ideal for an early-morning swim or for unwinding in the late afternoon after a day at the beach. We stayed during the high season, so the property could get quite busy at times, but this did not detract from our overall experience. Overall, we had another great stay at Değirmenburnu Residence and would not hesitate to return again in the future.

There were only two minor issues during our stay. The internet connection disconnected quite frequently, meaning we had to log in again several times, although the connection speed itself was very good once connected. The other issue was parking. When the property is fully booked, finding an available parking space can sometimes be a little difficult. But none of these detracted from our positive experience at Degirmenburnu.

Great location, walking distance to beaches, clubs and the marina. Nice pool and big apartments

The apartment itself could use some refurbishing e.g. chipped paint, broken lock in the bathroom

It is well placed, just outside the busy town centre, but still a steep climb. We walked once, but the rest of the time used our car. The place is spacious and relaxing.

The place was extremely dusty and needed a good clean. A lot of ants as well.
