We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful views and plenty of space for our family of 4! We appreciated the good condition roads all the way to the unit, so many places with views have long, narrow gravel driveways. We came for the Bryson City polar express and a bonus we didn’t realize was that the town you drive through to get to the rental is the “North Pole” for the train ride which our kids thought was really cool!One note if you’re traveling with small kids, the beds in the second bedroom are extremely high off the ground. They have a step stool but maybe bring bumpers!

Location was pretty central to the area's activities. So really convenient for our daily excursions! Waking up to those views was such a treat. Our stress and tension just melted away, this was a great vacation. The unit was fully stocked and super comfortable. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Good:
1) House is beautiful as seen in photos. It was clean and tidy.
Bad:
1) Check-in was ok'ish because this house does not have its dedicated parking spot and it has about 10/15 stairs to the front door. When we arrived late at night, the spots were not available and we parked out further. It was tough to carry two sleeping kids and luggage from a distant parking lot. My friends had a unit in the same community and that unit had its own parking garage.
2) There is construction going on right next to this condo. The construction noise woke us up in the morning when we wanted to catch some sleep after a long drive at night. We were not informed about this. 3) There is a note written on the thermostat to keep the temperature at 69 degrees. The reasoning was bad air due to sideby construction. It was freezing in the house when we entered. We had to wear jackets when it was high 70s/80s outside. We were not informed about this either. 4) Dishwasher was broken and it did not drain the water, making it useless. We had to clean all the dishes 5) Gas stove had some kind of locking system. Neither us nor the property manager was aware or figured out until late afternoon when they arrived to check in person. That was an inconvenience for breakfast planning, especially with kids. 6) This property required me to create a login on evolve.com and asked to make all communication via evolve. They do not use virbo's messaging system 7) Their cleaning lady told a few lies about the conditions to the property manager. We asked to do facetime with the manager but it did not happen. they simply asked us to leave the property so we did. Wish we had taken photos. I recommend that you stay here. 8) We had a small situation where my car key got wet and the car was disabled in the deep creek tubing parking lot. The other family who was on the trip with us was helping us to check in by driving back and forth in his car. So we asked if my wife, friend's wife and her 2 years old son could hang out on the outdoor patio for an hour after check out. That request was turned down insensibly. That two year old was fed milk on the street of the parking lot. Their reasoning was not having insurance after 11 am check-out. The hotels we stayed next to let us check in early at 12 noon instead of 3 pm, gave us the room and extended our next day checkout by an hour. The Evolve team and property manager of this unit really need to learn how to accommodate guests in urgency
