Definitely worth the stay!
Amazing view from any corner possible. Great hospitality, you feel like home, the host is super friendly. Good breakfast and for me the privacy and the tranquility of the place were just the right thing
The room is a bit too small but it does have everything you need so not really a downside

Beautiful historical villa owned by 2 passionate owners, overlooking both sides of the bay of Toulon Musicians welcome
Ideal to relax ! Jean Paul and Isabelle are fantastic hosts, very attentive to your needs. They are passionate about music as well, so if you happen to be a musician you’ll be at ease, with a piano and a guitare in the living room. This villa has a historical background that their owners are happy to share with you. The beds are very comfortable. The room I had, was super clean, overlooking the sea, offering your typical post card view :) The small pool is ideally located facing the bay . What else do you need! SURROUNDINGS : There is a small beach very close to the property and a bigger one, at around 5 km. If you don’t have a car, or don’t want to walk, you can easily catch a bus right down the property to go Les Sablettes. A bigger beach with your typical shops and restaurants and amenities. Toulon is reachable with a boat shuttle every 15 mn, for only 2 euros. Departure is very close to the villa. FOOD : The breakfast buffet - self service - is included in the price . The jams and cakes are homemade and absolutely delicious … Fresh croissants, bread, fruits, eggs and Isabelle’s special bakeries 🩷… The villa offers food twice a week on demand only. I did not have the chance to give it a try but some guests did, and it looked very appealing. Jean-Paul is using local products and has great skills in cooking. There are 2 local restaurants in Les Sablettes with a terrace outside, right next to the sea overlooking their very own sea farm. ‘Pierre et le Loup’ offers a simple but fantastic setting with a single menu displaying their own production (Tamari’s mussel / oysters / fish). Be sure to Book in advance are they are very busy with locals ! 10/10 ! Thanks Isabelle and Jean Paul

Does not deserve a 9.0 rating
July 2023: Lovely location up the hill from the sea, between two seaside villages and not far from beaches (need a car). The property is beautiful, a real gem. Bed was comfortable. Hosts are friendly.
This may once have been a 9.0 on booking but no longer. Check-in: I did not read the small print in the terms and only realised later that no check in is possible until after 16:00. I emailed with my plea for an exception to at least come to the pool and wait for the checkin on the property (we were travelling in full summer traffic 9 hours since 6am and would arrive around 14:30). I was refused entry until exactly 16:00 as "no one is at the reception until then". We waited 90 minutes down the street at the Tamaris brasserie. Of course, early checkout at 11:00 is also strict (though I stretched it 20 minutes). AC: No air conditioning and the heat was brutal. Fan in room provided some comfort but necessary to keep all windows and blinds closed. Room: Room was small - this is not specified on booking as the differences in the rooms are not obvious. Ours was said to be 18m2 but it was tight. Bed headboard collapsed from the wall when we were trying to plug in the lamp. When I informed the host her reply was "that's odd, it's been attached for 9 years now there is no reason it should fall suddenly". Obviously, after 9 years of humidity, the plaster decided to give in. And why did we need to move the bed to plug in the lamp? Because there is only one electrical outlet in entire room and it appears to be broken (lamp was flickering when plugged in). Breakfast: Filter coffee, cold milk, juice, baguette and croissant, yogurt or fromage frais, 2 sticks with melon, one egg scrambled or over easy on request, fresh marmalade. That's it. Nothing special. My craving for fresh coffee was not satisfied. No cheese, no charcuterie. The terasse for breakfast is beautiful, but no cushions on the chairs to make it more cozy and comfortable (an easy fix). I tried to cancel immediately when realising we could not arrive before 16:00 but the hosts refused my cancellation request.
