We truly loved our stay at Hipnotic and are already planning our next visit!

We were a bit skeptical at first about staying in a hostel with a young child and arranging bike rental through messages in Polish, but our stay at Hipnotic turned out to be one of our best travel experiences! This small, family-run hotel, managed by two exceptionally kind brothers, is a true hidden gem. Perfectly located between Gdańsk and Sopot, just steps from a bus stop, it strikes the perfect balance — away from the tourist crowds in central Sopot, yet with easy access to both lively and more natural beach areas. Exploring the Tricity by bike was a highlight. Thanks to the hotel’s convenient location, we could easily start riding on safe, well-organized bike paths through the forest, along the beach promenade, and all the way to Gdynia, Gdańsk, and the beautiful parks in between. When my bike tire went flat, the hosts were quick to help by offering another bike and fixing it right away. They even lent our son toys for the beach, which made his days by the sea extra fun. After our adventures, we always returned to wonderfully comfortable beds — some of the best we’ve experienced in any hotel — and a delicious, homemade breakfast that was different each morning, simple yet full of heart.

If we could suggest a couple of small improvements, it would be great to have somewhere to hang wet towels and swimwear, as well as a designated smoking area. During our stay, some guests smoked by the side door just below our open window, which was not ideal.

Nothing special, but it got the job done.

- The beds were decently comfortable. - The room seemed to have an acceptable level of cleanliness. - We opted to add breakfast, which was pretty good. - There were working power sockets and lights near both beds. - The room is located pretty close to a train station and a trolleybus stop, making it pretty easy to get to the centre of Sopot or Gdansk. - Although we didn't end up using it, there was a common kitchen that it seemed we would have been able to use had we chosen to do so. - There were two entrances to the building that were both unlocked by the same fob.

- The room was partially underground, and so the windows weren't very big, limiting both the amount of fresh air and the amount of natural light. - There did not appear to be a way to lock the bathroom. - Only one key and fob were provided for two people. - Not wheelchair-accessible, since you have to climb down stairs to get to the room.

Our room in the semi-basement was damp, the towels wouldn't dry. No view from the window.

Expected better based on the reviews. Whilst convenenient, I wouldn't stay there again.

The room was relatively big and so was the bathroom. The location isn't perfect however it's a 5 minute walk to Sopot Wyścigi SKM station. Once you jump on a local train you'll be at the main station in 1 minute. If you rather walk to the beach it's a 20 minutes stroll. The shower pressure was excellent. Check in was efficient and the receptionist was very friendly.

The room smelled musty and most of the surfaces were far from clean, especially the bin cover. As we walked inside we got tangled in spider web. Later in the evening I found around 5 big spiders sitting in the ceiling. The entire window ledge was full of dead insects. The fridge inside in the room will make your cold drinks... warm. We only stayed for 2 nights making the most of each day waking up early, however if you'd like to sleep longer than 8 am you may find it difficult as you can hear anything and everything through the walls and the place gets rather loud. There was a shared kitchen area too, yet again it was dirty and I wouldn't cook a thing in there.

Quiet place to easily reach Sopot and Gdansk

Good place to stay to visit Sopot, about 25 minutes walk from the city center, and a few minutes from the Sopot Wiscigi train station with which to reach both Sopot and Gdansk. Quiet room equipped with the necessary, very friendly and helpful staff.

Friendly staff who made us free coffee in the morning even though we didn't pick to include the breakfast option. There was a 24/h shop close by which helps on the weekend nights.

The room was next to a road which, while not very busy, would have vehicles pass by every so often, very fast and loud, which was enough to wake you at night.

Fine functional stay for one night, with helpful staff.

It is about five minutes walk to the big supermarkets Biedronka and Lidl. Also near a main road, with a key bus stop - which even has buses going direct to the airport (and to the IKEA plus shopping area on the way). A quick walk over the railway line, and you are at the twice-weekly farmers' market, with great fruit, veg and lots of other things on sale by locals. There is usually at least one electric scooter there on which you can ride straight down to the beach in about five minutes. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are a couple of nice self-catering (also breakfast) areas, with loads of coffee and tea freely available; also a room with an ironing board and washing machine for free use. My room was spacious enough for one, but might be tight for two (although described as a two-person room. The bed was great, and I had a good sleep. The shower room is spacious. I had a small fridge, good storage space,.

No table in the room, nor laptop space - just a chair; although I could have gone to one of the common areas to work with my computer. Regulating the temperature of the water in the shower proved frustratingly difficult - it was either too hot or too cold, even with tiny tweaks of the tap. This meant I couldn't relax and enjoy the as I had wanted. There was a loud generator outside somewhere (or some such machine) which came on for a few seconds every hour or so. A window towards a main road had no curtain, so privacy was not as I would have liked. It was not easy to plug my HDMI cable into the tv, which was fixed to the wall. The room did not have much of a homely feel about it - black and grey colours predominantly; okay for one night, but perhaps not for an extended stay.

Quiet location, fairy price and clean rooms

The location was perfect for me (2 km. from city center). The personal really helpfull und the breakfast more than enough. The hostel gives you the possibilitie to rent a bike (recommendable!).

I think the hostel should give you an extra towel, soap and shampoo and improve the internet connection.

В першу ніч було холодно , але ранком цю проблему вдалося виправити з адміністрацією, величезною проблемою був шум, тому що кімната знаходиться прям біля адміністрації, через тонкі стіни було чутно все, не вдалося виспатись… На перший погляд було досить чисто, але згодом помітили багато павутиння…

Zadowalający pobyt w dobrej cenie

- lokalizacja blisko stacji SKM - szczelne okna (dobrze tłumiły szum z ulicy) - wygoda korzystania z obiektu (bez konieczności każdorazowego kontaktu z recepcją) - wszystko działało tak jak powinno (ciepła woda, kaloryfery, sprzęty - jedynie lodówka trochę głośno chodziła) - zawsze coś na ciepło na śniadanie

- generalnie było czysto, ale odkryłam parę niedociągnięć (np. czyjeś włosy na ścianie w łazience), a w jadalni pojawiały się muszki owocówki - w piwnicznej jadalni było dość chłodno i trochę obskurnie - dźwięki z korytarza i innych pokojów bardzo się niosły

Вкусные завтраки. Хорошее расположение: до центра и пляжа спокойно идти минут 15-20. Недалеко железная дорога со станцией,но её не слышно. Зато очень удобно добираться в соседние города: Гданьск и Гдыню. Услужливый и отзывчивый персонал. Вернусь обязательно!!!

Vidrigt,enklare än det värsta vandrarhemmet. Smutsigt vi skulle dela ett smutsigt badrum med andra. En skitig duschkabin och en gammal tvättmaskin. Vi var helt chockade. Vi ställde våra väskor gick en promenad och bokade ett fräsch hotell. Tog en taxi, hämtade våra väskor och åkte

Det fanns inget att gilla med boendet. Det var dyrt med tanke på hur det såg ut.

Trójmiasto jest cudownym miejscem do spędzania czasu

Obsługa przy zameldowaniu była miła

Przede wszystkim uważam, że opis obiektu wprowadza w błąd. Zarówno w opisie obiektu jak i w opiniach gości jest mowa o pysznych śniadaniach. Przy cenie 250zł za pokój oraz przyjeździe w dni świąteczne, niehandlowe był to powód, który zaważył na wyborze tego hotelu. Na miejscu dowiedziałam się, że oni nie podają śniadań i można jedynie skorzystać z ogólnodostępnej jadalni w celu przygotowania sobie posiłku. Czuję się oszukana. Drugim zgrzytem był pokój, który w cenie 250zl miał łazienkę na korytarzu, również ogólnodostępną a nie prywatną. Trzecim zgrzytem był ogólny stan pokoju. Wyposażenie mocno zużyte, podłogi ze zdrapanym laminatem, meble również powycierane, wyglądające przez to jakby na wszystkim był kurz. Kolejną niedogodnością było słabe oświetlenie pokoju, ale to już sprawa subiektywna. Przy zaświeconych kilku źródłach światła miałam poczucie, że jestem w ciemnej norze. Niezbyt też przyjemnie śpi się na gumowym podkładzie pod prześcieradło. Rozumiem, że to chroni materac, ale wygodne nie jest. Reasumując jestem rozczarowana. Pokój w tym obiekcie spełniał standardy pokoju dla pracowników, a nie pokoju w hotelu nastawionego na turystę, który zechce tam wrócić. Gdyby to był pokój za 80zł to można by na to wszystko przymknąć oko, jednak za ponad 200zł w Sopocie jest wiele przyjemnych miejsc z dużo wyższym standardem. Ale może tylko ten jeden pokój jest taki zużyty? Nie wiem. Ale w tym wypadku można by obniżyć cenę.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, rzut beretem do dworca i całkiem niedaleko na plażę

Cienkie ściany, było słychać rozmowy z pokojów na korytarzu, niewygodne łóżko i poduszka :( trochę mało miejsca obok łóżka
