Amazing location, amazing feeling to spend nights in the original and unique Castro of Folegandros

It's a gorgeous Cycladic home just on the outskirts of the heart of Chora. The place is very charming inside with lots of old style decor. The outdoor area is spacious with lots of beautiful plants and ample seating. The extra bathroom really helped with 4 of us staying. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with just about everything you need. Very big fridge. The host was very responsive and helpful with all our requests.

The place has been kept in a very original style which looks great. However, EVERYTHING is loud inside the house. Anytime you open or close a door, it's loud. There's no AC, so windows need to stay open, but when the wind blows, shutters clack and bang a little. Not a huge deal, but something to know before you stay. The bathrooms are quite small...watch your head if you're somewhat tall! A lot of the traditional decor is nice, but some of it could go to make extra space for guests and their things. The bench outside needs to be either fixed or replaced. I nearly went right through it! Bathrooms are typical for this part of the world and don't really do much for preventing water from getting all over the floor when showering. Wifi doesn't really reach either bathroom.
