Lovely retreat in the far North of Iceland. We have been driving around the entire island for nine days and this has easily been the nicest hotel we have stayed at. Clean reasonable size rooms, radiant heat bathroom floor, superb rain shower with good pressure, breakfast included and convenient hot tub / sauna at front door.
While the restaurant was very nice, as is the case with most everything in Iceland it is expensive.

Lovely hotel in nice quaint town. Clean room. Comfortable bed.
No place to pull up to hotel check in. Had to walk in a downpour with luggage to get to lobby. It is very inconvenient.

Absolutely loved this spot. The hot pool next to the harbor is such a cozy spot! The staff was incredible from check in to check out! Loved watching the harbor all evening and morning as boats came in and out. Driving to the area was tons of fun too, coming out of each tunnel feels like a new area. Plenty of hikes you can simply walk to. Breakfast was yummy!
Nothing hotel was amazing!

The room was spacious & on the water. Also lovely, large bathroom.
They don’t shovel or plow their parking lot well. It was difficult to get in with a front wheel drive.
