We enjoyed our holidays there and we are thinking about to visit the Beaufort House in the next years again

We had a very nice holiday at the Beaufort house and the owner of it had always time for a small talk. She recommended a walk loop with a nice view to a big lake and a beautiful waterfall. The Beaufort House has all we need for a holiday with small kids. We could use the big garden with 2 swings and one soccer goal in front of the house. Everything was more than good.

Everything. It is fully equipped and especially cosy. The owners took great care of us. It is located in a quiet area but really close to Killarney. The domain is beautiful and very well kept.

Beautiful stay at Beaufort House

The property was clean and spacious. The grounds were beautiful and safe for children. The host kindly rearranged arrival time as we were running late and provided milk and other essentials on arrival. The location is perfect for exploring the area and a short drive to Killarney.

Everything was perfect. Our December stay was warm and comfortable. We especially liked the open fire and the space inside and out - two bedrooms with king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms with baths. The kitchen was the best equipped that we have ever experienced in a rented house.

Great stay!

Location was great, quiet. Beds were comfy, loved the towel warming rack in the bathroom. Kitchen had everything we needed and host left us homemade bread, milk and eggs. Nice fireplace.

This property was perfect for our family of 6. We had plenty of room, beds were comfortable, bathrooms in each of the 3 rooms, and a very spacious kitchen and open dining area. The setting is absolutely beautiful and close to all the things you’d want to see in the area. The owners are just lovely and welcoming. We would most definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Beaufort House and I would unhesitatingly recommend to anyone.

Beaufort house is an excellent location for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. The cottage was quiet, comfortable, with spacious rooms and fully equiped. For light sleepers like myself the bed was very comfortable and no bothering external lights. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. There was delicious home baked bread (by the host) on arrival plus the basics. Rachel and Donald advised us on hiking trails, lent us bikes and guide books and showed us round the historic house. We had a wonderful stay.

Peaceful idyllic haven

Fantastic hosts and extremely helpful but also gave you your space. We would highly recommend this property. It had the best equipped kitchen I have ever stayed at.

Internet was extremely hit and miss. We didn't mind but if you had children depending on it it would be a problem.

The house is absolutely amazing. Immaculately clean. The hosts were so welcoming and left us in essential food items and gave us lots of information about everything to do and see in Killarney. They were also always available to help with any other questions we had!

We liked the location as it was out of Killarney town . It was in a lovely setting and we were all very happy with the property. Which was great as we had children of different ages. Great outside space

There is so many positives that we don't feel we should be critical.. The access onto the road from the cottage side could have more sight visibility. We navigated okay as we were not in a hurry.

Made feel very welcome, hosts were very personable, place was very clean and all necessary kitchen utensils were available. Very convenient location for Killarney, gap of Dunloe, Moll's Gap (for cycling), Dingle Penninsula, Ring of Kerry. Comfortable beds. Good recommendations of local attractions. We loved it and plan to return.

Maravillosa en todos sentidos, un lugar de ensueño!

Estuvimos hospedados del 28 de abril al 2 de mayo de 2025. Este lugar fue maravilloso! Desde que entras a la propiedad el escenario nos pareció como de cuento! Nos recibió Rachel una persona encantadora y cálida que nos brindó toda la información que necesitábamos. Las habitaciones son cómodas, acogedoras y funcionales, con linda decoración. Cada una de ellas con baño completo, muy bien equipado. Lo mismo para la cocina, amplia y con todo lo necesario para elaborar ricas comidas y disfrutarlas en un mesa enorme con vista a un gran jardín. También tiene una sala grande con chimenea y juegos de mesa para pasar un tiempo agradable. La propiedad tiene un río y venados que nos recibían por las tardes cuando regresábamos de nuestras actividades. Nos encantaría regresar y repetir esta fabulosa experiencia!
