Casas de Outeiro might possibly be our favorite stay along the entire Camino de Santiago (and that's compared to the Paradores in Santiago and Leon). It's right off the main trail which is perfect after a long hike. The rooms were beautiful and quaint with amazing views of the surrounding hills. Everyone in our group wanted to stay there multiple nights.

Clean, quiet, host provided a kettle on request
Property was dark & more rustic than expected. Needed to bring own tea & coffee. The staircase between levels was challenging.

Right by the Camino trail, nice host.
A bit more rustic than I was expecting. My room was very dark and did not look like the featured photos. It’s at the top of a very steep hill so after a long day of walking, it’s a painful descent into town and then back up again. I had my own stand alone building which is sort of nice but also isolating as a solo traveller.
