5bdrm Craftsman with a hot tub and BBQ in a wonderful neighborhood

My colleagues and I were in town for a work conference and we stayed here to keep our carpooling and conference materials central. The space was lovely, as described, and the neighborhood was pleasant and walkable with great restaurant options around. Would definitely rent again.

My niece got married on Saturday August 24 in Olympia . We rented the west side story house for me , my husband, my three daughters , two son-in -laws and 2 year old granddaughter. It was perfect for us. We were t there very long as we all got there around 9pm Friday and had a wedding on Saturday until about 10pm. Unfortunately it rained Friday and Saturday so sitting outside or using the BBQ was not a reality for us. I was concerned about the back deck and the cushions on the furniture but they were soaked when we got there and we couldn’t put them inside due to how wet they were. I am hoping they are somewhat water resistant and it is going to get hot again soon. We loved the place- could have used a silicone spatula. Great home great neighborhood.

The house was perfect for a Girls' Weekend away. Olympia was delightful, and the house and host were perfection.

This space was perfect for our stay in Northwest Olympia. Everything in Olympia and surrounding towns is within a 10-15 minute drive. We packed this place to capacity, filling every spot in every bed, and it was still comfortable. The open first floor balanced off with the large basement room, along with the hot tub and porches, allows for many sitting spaces. Communication with the owner/manager was wonderful. The worst part about this stay was the surprise charge that showed up deep in the booking process for booking a larger-sized group, as mentioned on other reviews. Everything else was great. I don't think you'll find many better options if you want to be near the heart of Olympia.

The house was perfect for our stay visiting family. It had plenty of room for everyone to have privacy. The location was perfect and easy to get to. The house was clean and they even had flowers / wine for check in. We would definitely rent again!

This property was amazing! It was pristinely clean, spacious enough for our large group & the location was perfect in a quiet neighborhood with many sites just minutes away. The place was stocked with everything you need. There was even a portable crib & high chair for my 8 month old granddaughter. Oh! And the hot tub was a plus! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay!

There was lots of room. The deck was great. The owner was out of the country communication was quick. Nice quiet neighborhood.

A group of friends that race cars had an event nearby in Shelton. This home was a great place to stay for our group (several couples) due to its multiple bedrooms. House was nicely renovated and has a wonderful kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect. Especially enjoyed the kitchen island and hot tub. :-)

This lovely property was welcoming and so thoughtfully furnished. The location was perfect for our needs. In seeking a property, we wanted something with minimal stairs. From the description, the living area and two of the five bedrooms were on one level. I was disappointed to find that the kitchen and living room were on separate levels.

Everything was wonderful the house was clean beds were extremely comfortable plenty of towels provided loved the fact that big pots were provided, usually are rentals all small pots lol

Me and bunch of my old college friends all finally comitted to having a little reunion. We all went to Evergreen and some still live in Oly, some in Portland, some in Seattle. It was great to get the gang back together, visit old haunts, discover some new ones, then come back to a hot tub and a comfy couch.

We stayed here for a long weekend and the house was fantastic. It’s very spacious and well lit. We had two families with younger children. The kids slept downstairs and adults upstairs. It was very clean, well organized and a lot of attention to detail. Check in and out extremely easy and it’s in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Our niece and her family stayed at this VRBO. A group of us went in on it. It was perfect for them. Very nice space, comfortable beds. A fun place to gather the day after the big TG meal. My only complaint was that even tho it has 5 bedrooms, we were charged extra per person for having more than 4 in the group. When I asked about this the owner said it was to encourage smaller groups to stay there. We have never encountered this in many years of using VRBO. Regardless, I highly recommend it.

The house was the perfect size for us. We enjoyed the deck and the hot tub. And, as in any good home, the kitchen was the heart of it. Ample space for us to gather there between the barstools on the large island and the big farmhouse table. Lots of thoughtful details and check in/out and communication was a breeze.

The house was very clean, tidy, organized, and comfortable. It was hot (for us) when we arrived and the basement living space was very much appreciated since there isn't A/C. The location was good, access to activities and shopping was easy and convenient. We had everything we needed from coffee and tea to laundry detergent. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, the neighbors were friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Our family attended a wedding 30 miles from this house. It was a busy weekend with the rehearsal dinner, etc. and so nice to return to this wonderful home in a quiet location!

This house has ruined me for all future stays elsewhere. Great location, super quiet neighborhood, fun hot tub, clean and spacious home, and so many extras like coffee and spices! The owner made all communication easy, this is truly a gem of a property!

Really enjoyed the home and how well it was set up.

Our Criteria: 7 different walks of life gathered for 5 nights, each one requiring their own space due to sleeping idealisms and a vacant restroom when duty called; I'm pleased to report this house fit and met both specifications! People Pleasing: In hindsight there were some minor discomforts that could easily be worked out; for instance, a "light-sleeper" would benefit from having an upstairs room due to the old school creeky Craftsman style flooring, but not the master bedroom where there's a seemingly important loud electronic device; and a menopausal sister would best be suited downstairs, due to a classic case of- heat rising. These details are purely individual, and don't reflect the potential of this rental. I'm only mentioning it so other "people-pleasers" may perhaps "fix it, not fight it" prior to room assigning. For the super- sensitive -types, the 2 upstairs beds are memory foam, while downstairs 2 out of the 3 (-4 including trundle) beds were traditional springs; all of the beds were reported to be comfortable!! Our Flow: We mostly hung out in the kitchen/ dining room area, as we're mostly foodies and all things nature- Crafter's/ Artist's. The space accommodated our party of 7 beautifully! We herbal crafted teas and body scrubs by the gracious mid morning Light, conversed freely in the open concept communal space and intimately dined family style. Looking to the Future: We would highly recommend this space for anyone looking to release in the comforts of a home away from home! The location is easily accessible to downtown and amenities in the neighborhood, such as the food co-op, but tucked away in a respectfully quaint neighborhood with seemingly jolly neighbors. If you're considering this rental, just rent it, it's a crowd pleaser 🥰 Thank you for the stay and hospitality!

Our second time staying in this sweet home. My daughters and I do a trip away each year. By far our favorite!

The house was great. Clean, comfortable, plenty of room for everybody.

I rented this home to have family members come from Idaho, Oregon and parts of Washington to have a family Christmas get together a week before Christmas. House was well set up for making a great dinner, snacks and desserts. Plenty of room for sleeping and lounging around. It was a great trip overall and I recommend this home to anyone looking for a great VRBO in Olympia!

Very accommodating and comfortable for 8 of us that stayed there. With local relatives, there were 14 for Thanksgiving dinner and plenty of space. Would rent again. Thanks Caitlin.
