Moor Croft

Moor Croft was clean, warm, had comfortable beds, and is located close to the town centre. The little crate with a few snacks in was a kind gesture, as was the pint of milk in the fridge. As we visited in December, the Christmas tree added to the festive feeling.

We had a very long journey to Whitby, in windy and rainy driving conditions. We were abit disappointed that there were no teabags or coffee to make a drink once we arrived. Other holiday homes we've stayed in have had at least a few teabags and coffee for guests.

A clean, comfortable cottage in a quiet location. Displaying seaside pictures etc. It lets you spend your holiday, knowing you're at the seaside. Just what you want if it's the seaside you're coming to see.

The location was excellent, very central. The house was warm and comfortable. There was plenty of space to put things.

It was difficult to put the keys back into the key safe.

The location was fantastic. Near the front but far enough away to have a quiet night. The property was well appointed and nice and warm on the cooler evenings.

Everything needed to be cleaned upon arrival. Cups were dirty. Work surfaces appeared clean but upon wiping, found a brown residue over all surfaces. Carpets were dirty and stains were visible in places. Having just entered the property, we found the vacuum and proceeded to clean the carpets. I was shocked at the level of filth which came from them. Very disappointing for such a beautiful property. Kitchen utensils were found to be unclean and had remnants of what ever was cooled by the previous occupants. Cobwebs were seen over most walls and ceilings. A very beautiful property let down by lack of cleanliness.
