The location of the property is excellent, and the surrounding atmosphere is truly lovely—one of the highlights of our stay.
We were quite disappointed upon arrival. The room had a very strong, musty odor, as if the windows and doors hadn’t been opened for months. It was so overwhelming that we experienced difficulty breathing, which made our first impression quite unpleasant.

Old fashion house full of history in great location
Location is amazing, great winter time but can imagine during the summer is even better Size of the house and facilities are amazing, there is everything you need for group of 10-15 people Snooker table, games, fireplaces Private beach and some swimming / kayaking / fishing equipment
It needs proper cleanup, it’s quite dusty, after arrival we could smell kind of damp but after quick refresh it’s gone. You can expect some of that in 200yrs old house and depend on how sensitive you are it may be an issue or not. Touch of paint or little refurbish here and there should be done but overall we can’t complain
