Lovely views, close enough to a town for amenities but I couldn't tell from the house. Well-equipped kitchen and comfy lounge. Bedrooms were cosy and warm.

It would be nice to have hand soap provided in the bathroom.

Parking is a little tricky getting in and out of the driveway onto the narrow lane. Decor is a little tired and in need of of refreshing.

It's a nice sized property. The lounge is very big with an open fire. There are 2 sofas, both very comfortable. There's a lovely view from the lounge window ( the lounge is at the top with the kitchen, and the bedrooms are downstairs). There's a restaurant 5 minutes drive away. Out of the window you'll get to see the owners chickens and ducks roaming free across the grass as they're next door.

It's down a single track country road. If something is coming the other way you have to reverse... The angle into the driveway is very tight, especially for longer vehicles. The bed linen is polyester which isn't the best for sleeping with. There was no cleaning stuff, including hand soap or kitchen spray. The house decor is very basic and needs updating. The worst part was the Internet. As the house is remote, in the evenings the TV is a big thing. The Internet keeps cutting out again and again..it's atrocious. It's impossible to watch a film without it freezing half way through. Smart TV yes, smart Internet no. The owners do not respond to messages. I messaged them through booking 10 months before arrival asking to change the booking and they ignored my messages.
