The facilities were very good everything we needed and more. The location was excellent with a bus route at the end of the driveway and lake Windermere was just across the road. Getting to places was easy as the main A591 was at the bottom of the lane. The cottage was clean with good quality furniture, TV, DAB radio even videos, CD's and family games. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils, crockery and white goods. There are plenty of electric sockets in all the rooms (none with USB) OVER ALL WE WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK AND STAY HERE AGAIN

Myself and my partner are not big people but it was a bit of a squeeze to get in/out of the shower as the door only opens 12 inches wide. The 2 seater sofa was not the most comfortable There was no sign on the main road to show the entrance to the cottages as SATNAV kept taking us to the hotel at the back of the cottages.

Very good

One small issue was drainage from the shower seemed to be an issue. Very slow to drain and after running the shower for a couple of minutes the shower tray became close to overflowing due to the poor drainage. Would drain after 15 mins of the shower being turned off

Great location, warm property, park outside the door!

Great Location! Property nice and warm! Plenty of equipment in kitchen! You can park outside the front door!

No hand soap provided in kitchen. Bed very soft and sofa very soft, maybe need replacing, worn out.. Cooker hood is probably a fire hazard, old grease dripping out onto the hob, put me off using the hob.

Exceptional

Quiet little cottage off the main road, and so very well featured! It had everything you could wish for to make a comfortable home away from home for a few days - comfortable and spacious bedroom, clean bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and cosy lounge area… and parking on-site! Bus stop is also super close which was perfect for making the most of the excellent transport links in the area and the £2 bus fare cap at the moment.
