OCEANFRONT Buxton - Old Lighthouse Rd. - You'll be one step closer to heaven in this one-of-a-kind, spectacular oceanfront retreat. DUNE CRAB is not packed with bedrooms, at 4,484 sq. ft.; it was designed for you to find your own space, indoors or out, in every season. This expansive four-level handicap-friendly home has an elevator for easy access to all levels of the home.
The first floor has a game room with wet bar, pool table, TV, queen futon, half bath and laundry area. The second level has an awesome media area with large screen TV, comfortable seating and sofa bed; three bedrooms (each with private bath) - two are suites with ocean views that open onto a shaded oceanside deck. The third level is the heart of the house. It has a huge great room with sofas, an open kitchen with wrap around bar and wall to wall glass for unparalleled Atlantic views opening onto a wide furnished oceanfront deck. Dine indoors on the large indoor table, the small breakfast table, or just outside on the south side screened porch with hammock, which is just off of the kitchen. The fourth level features two additional master suites (one with handicap friendly bath) and more oceanside seating with endless views, opening to a furnished sundeck with a hot tub. (Fireplaces seen in photos are not for guest use.)

Absolutely loved the property and the check in process was simple. The only issue at hand was the privacy walk out to the beach. There are quite a few local residents who said the walkout to the beach was public and would hang out on the walkway and had clear view into the pool and backyard where my teen daughter was swimming with her teen cousins. Really need to specify that in the description.

Great location, peaceful and fun area. House was everything listed. We had family member with new hip. Elevator, ramp into house, ramp on side-down to pool was such a blessing. Wall to wall windows on main living area perfectly gorgeous view. We had a few questions and issues were handled promptly. They sent a person the very next day who fixed them very promptly. However, felt propane for grill should have been full. Ready to cook-out second evening...empty. Patties made, carry everything down; hot dogs loose and begging for grill. They were very informative the next morning on where we could go to trade out tanks, as they didn't deliver or switch out. Check in with keyless entry was awesome. Checkout was just a courteous text, so we could let them know the house was empty. All associates we spoke with were professional and friendly. Very refreshing. I called and left a list of ideas for improvement; so all future bookings will be carefree and special. We were blessed and enjoyed a very rewarding and carefree week which was so rejuvenating.

Due to a hurricane the week before we arrived, it appears all the outside furniture was turned over and stored away. It was not reset before we arrived. There was a disposable glove stuck to the entertainment cabinet in the living room. The range hood was not useable. The filter was stuffed with paper towels to stop water or something from leaking all over the range top and food when you tried to cook. It leaked all week we were there. None of the pool ladders were attached as shown in the photos.
