The owners, Pascual and Isabel, are wonderful, and the building is incredible with all the wood and stone! They were friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. They had fresh fruit and local bread for breakfast and made us scrambled eggs from their own chickens. The property has a fabulous view and allows for easy exploration of the interesting town of Penha Garcia and the fossil trail. It's also a short drive to Monsanto. We will definitely stay with them again because there is more of the area we would like to explore.
The parking was a little tight if all the rooms are filled, but it was certainly manageable. The bed was a little firm for my preferences, but I still had a pleasant sleep.

The property was super. The bed was great ( big and comfortable), super linens and towels. Exceptional breakfast and service in the morning. Sorry to say that we had to leave since we enjoyed the stay 1000%

its a super authentic place at a beutiful location with super friendly host who allso built the house and is very friendly and with great tips on food and what to do in the area. we were sorry we only stayed one night at the place as we were on our way between places. and the breakfast was super fresh tasty and hand made.
nothing stuck out as bad, it was a lovely experiance.
