We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property - we completely fell in love with it. We stayed in the Applecroft apartment, which was incredibly spacious, cosy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was also spotlessly clean, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable - we slept so well the entire time.
The hosts were absolutely delightful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
We were also so impressed with how dog-friendly the property is. Our two dogs were made to feel just as welcome as we were, which made the stay even more special. Having our own private back garden was a real highlight, and we loved being able to explore the wider grounds and woodland walks straight from the doorstep.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful setting with lovely facilities. Phil and Melanie are lovely hosts and extremely helpful when their needed. The grounds were brilliant to walk around and our daughter loved playing on the multiple springs.

The location and accommodation are the definition of peace and quiet. Remote enough that you can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life, but, also, only a 30 minute drive from a good deal of what Devon and Cornwall have to offer. The accommodation is very comfy, with good WiFi (not always a guarantee at such remote locations). We couldn’t have asked for more accommodating hosts. We hope to be back with more family, soon!
