Peaceful location with cosy and picturesque accommodation that’s perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy some time close to

The location and accommodation are the definition of peace and quiet. Remote enough that you can disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life, but, also, only a 30 minute drive from a good deal of what Devon and Cornwall have to offer. The accommodation is very comfy, with good WiFi (not always a guarantee at such remote locations). We couldn’t have asked for more accommodating hosts. We hope to be back with more family, soon!

The property was positioned in the most beautiful country setting was peaceful and tranquil. The loft house was so cosy with the most beautiful views. We had our own garden to sit out in as apart of the accommodation would definitely recommend Puddleduck Valley Melanie our host was so lovely and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Just what we needed an amazing relaxing break away from reality ♥️

We loved the location and the peacefulness. Great space for dogs as the woods are close by to walk through. Very warm welcome 🙏🏻 with nice little touches , eggs , freshly picked apples and cake . Thank you. We all loved the wood fired hot tub ; very special xx thank you 🙏🏻

The property was lovely , mum and dad stayed in the apartment and recommended a shower mat would be helpful as the floor of the shower once wet was very slippery. Other than that everything was perfect.

Lovely peaceful location, warm welcome and nice touches.

We loved being so far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Peaceful location with space to breathe and reset. Lovely space for our dogs. Great to have hot tub , wood fired was really special .

We did not dislike anything but a recommendation would be to either bring your own hot tub towels or a robe and slippers .

Perfect, peaceful getaway, with very welcoming hosts.

The location of the property was very private, semi nestled in the woodlands! Fresh farm eggs and cake were left for our arrival, with the option to purchase various wines which were left in the property for us to peruse.

Having a hot tub at the property, it would be handy to have a washing machine. The washing line was broken too, which made drying the towels a bit of a chore, but none of that spoilt our stay.

Relaxing countryside break - highly recommended

Beautiful location and, by car, easy to get to all the activities (Tamar Lakes water sports) and sites (Bude, Boscastle) we wanted to visit. Lovely apartment - Appleloft - bigger than we thought, spotlessly clean, well appointed with good quality appliances, well thought out, qaulity bed linen with super comfortable beds and sofas. We loved watching the birds at the bird feeder in the mornings, best view from a bathroom I have ever had :-) with fluffy towels and a good shower which is appreciated after long days out and about. We were pleasantly surprised by the allocated outside area for the apartment - we thought it would be a small bit of garden out the back for us, but it was a lovely space, with wonderful views of the woods - especially enjoyed with a morning cuppa before the day begins. It was quiet and peaceful, eventhough we knew other guests were staying in the other cottages from their cars, we would never otherwise have known! Had some lovely walks locally for our dog. I can't thank our hosts, Melanie and Phil, enough - Melanie was so welcoming after a horrendous drive from London. We had some hiccoughs with major delays getting there and a delivery - but she was so kind, eventhough clearly busy with other arrivals, it really made all the difference!

Lovely property excellent hosts. I had no trouble parking but I suspect an older/less expirienced driver may of struggled to turn round on narrow track at front of property. But a minor consideration and I would gladly go back again.

The adjacent woods, dog wash and general property size. Together with the enclosed garden and quiet location. Very friendly and helpful owners.

The distance to coastal areas was at least 25 minutes, No pubs within easy walking distance. Parking and access maybe difficult for less abled people.

Beautiful location and excellent apartment, very thoughtfully decorated, so well suited for my 2 dogs. Great garden and also had a bath with hot and cold tap for doggy wash. There were treats and a towel for the dogs in the room. Loved the area and walks around. So close to Bude! thanks for the lovely cake !

Wish it had an extractor fan in the kitchen and a vacuum in the flat. would have happily vacuumed before leaving.Just used the brush and dust pan.

it was a lovely place to stay, very quiet and Melanie was a great host. the property was very neat and clean and we enjoyed the hot tub. Kids were happy to see the goats, Guinea pig and the chickens.

I liked the peacefulness of the place, the fact that it is on the farm and there were many animals for my child to look at and even pet! Host were very friendly, showed us around the farm and allowed my child to sit on the tractor! I also liked that there were outdoor activities for children.

Everything the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly, the cottage was amazing a home from home with little comforts waiting for us when we got there. The children were able to collect the eggs every morning for breakfast. It was extremely peace and just an amazing break.

The yurt was very beautiful, wonderfully decorated and the facilities in the house were well equipped The owners met us on arrival, showed us around fully and during our stay were very helpful and provided some extra comforts.
