noise from overseas visitors' other patrons

I really appreciated the very helpful & welcoming staff. The guesthouse offer a well appointed, value for money service. The pool is an incredible asset, the kitchen amenities were adequate, though, unfortunately many backpackers do not appreciate this space and leave it very messy, which affects other guests. I asked for blankets and refreshed towels which I received. The showers were hot & well maintained . We were very blessed to receive free shuttle to and from magnetic island, which we thoroughly enjoyed.. It was so enjoyable to be atound multi cultural, multi lingual tourists, rhe atnosohere was both positive and laid back. I. would most definitely recommend civic to Travellers, and, will come again on my next trip. Thanks so much.

Some of the guests do not respect the amenities, largely the kitchen, leaving dishes, mess and untidy. The showers and toilets also, especially by the evening.

Easy and convenient location, staff are super friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay.

The noise from other guests did impact sleep but noise cancelling earbuds solved this for me.

The location is great as you can walk to many restaurants and the supermarket. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

It was disappointing that some of the other guests didn't think the noise rules applied to them and continued making quite a bit of noise into the early hours of the morning.
