We arrived early and went to the restaurant for lunchshated the burnt eggplant ana piece of orange pie, and as we finished we were met by Maria, one of the owners who took the time tell us about the place and sharing a book made about her in-laws who started the restaurant then made the hotel. She then gave us a handwritten note with info on the beaches and tips with her phone number if we needed anything. The room was comfotable with beautiful ocean views. We had dinner there that evening and it was excellent too. Wish we had booked more time there.

What a great find the location was perfect. The staff amazing, and our hosts were so helpful giving us lots of ideas and tips about the area.

Everything! Without a doubt the most wonderful welcoming hotel we stayed in during our trip around Crete. We left feeling we had made good friends with the owners - what great history and family! This is a must-stay hotel for Crete - Maria is exceptional at her Front-of-House role!
