    This cozy hotel nestled in the mountains of Tateyama pleasantly surprised us. While the outside looks dated, the interior is kept extremely clean and gives a cozy, comforting feeling for the guests. While there are no en suite showers in the rooms, the public bath was a great experience and it is so clean and the onsen is great. It’s mostly local japanese tourists staying here, but it makes for a great local tour experience. The dinner course was also absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

    The lobby has comfortable sofas and large glass panes for viewing of the sea of clouds, meals are great, helpful staff.
