Eco Lodge Village Temanoha

The best thing about this accommodation was our lovely host Poema. She said it’s family-run, and can tell she takes great care of the guests and the property itself. The pool and common areas were always tidy and ready to use. She also provides both breakfast and dinner meals (need to pre-arrange). She also offers to arrange activities and excursions around Moorea if you wish. Bungalows themselves were very roomy and clean. There was plenty of space for multiple people if you have larger group. The bathroom was gorgeous, I really liked the walk-in shower. The bungalows feel very intimate and connected to nature. You feel as if you are in a different world, in a valley surrounded by forests and mountains. There are stunning views of the mountain peaks and we even got to see a couple of rainbows. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings to relax.

You have to take an unpaved road to property, so it was a little bumpy. We arrived safely with a compact car, just had to drive slowly and carefully. Moorea has very tropical climate, so expect some bugs and bring some bug spray.

A True Haven of Peace and Serenity 🌿✨ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, a true haven of peace where calm, serenity, and well-being come together beautifully. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and every detail invites you to unwind and enjoy a moment of pure tranquility.

I couldn't fault the property itself- Poema was so friendly and professional. The room was great, especially the cool rocky bathroom! It was the fact it was cold and rainy there in the mountains that would put me off staying there again.

The breakfast was expensive with our NZD.

it was difficult (needed to go very very slow and very very careful) to access with our simple rental car (4W is definitely a better option), we had difficulties to find the place as the navigation brought us to a wrong adress (it wasn’t clear for us we should have followed red markings on the road), our house had: many dusty spiders webs that gave the feeling the house wasn’t clean, lights were way to bright (which make it not enjoyable); we missed a drying line (for swimsuits and towels) and that the wifi doesn’t reach the houses; pool sides is very slippery
