Jusandi

All the staff were wonderful (a particular thanks to Joe & Alison 🙏). Breakfasts quite superb. The one evening meal we’d pre booked, though expensive for Japan, was very special indeed and worth it as an occasion. The villa suites were spacious & comfortable, as were the beds themselves. Spotlessly clean throughout. A/C & dehumidifier worked well. The ‘private’ garden & pool area felt suitably enveloped in the glorious jungle flora…and the private cliff edge terrace overlooking the emerald sea and Blue Cove was a nice touch. Fruit Bats visiting at dusk were a bonus!

Not much; but I must mention two points: Whilst a little better in the reception/restaurant area, the WiFi in the villa was slow and had very patchy coverage (e.g. none in the bathroom). It seemed to date back to around 2008 and really needs an urgent upgrade. No good if you need to reliably stream or do work related Teams/Zoom calls. Whilst clearly not the direct responsibility of Jusandi, the nearest beach cove (a lovely 5 min jungle walk down from the villas) that adjoins the Blue Cove is an obvious tidal & current collection point for flotsam & jetsam, mostly single-use plastic. It’s like a rubbish tip and really needs a concerted clean-up. Such a shame because the beach cove itself could be a lovely place to while away the hours, sunbathing & snorkelling. Maybe Jusandi should put some diplomatic pressure on the island authorities or whoever is responsible for the beach to organise something? Wouldn’t take much effort and what a difference it would make to the ‘guest experience’.

晚餐很好吃。是份量很多的fine dining。請務必預訂並且餓一點再來吃。酒單完整。私人泳池很棒。走路可到的terrace，其實是一個絕景懸崖，青之洞窟，潛水的地點，也走路可到。

我們是一個大人和兩個國小學生，只有兩張床，一個人要睡沙發，很難睡。環境天然，蟲很多，懼怕蟲的人請斟酌。

スタッフの対応も良く、ロケーションも最高でした。シュノーケルポイントも直ぐ近くにあり、ウミガメも見る事ができました。テラスや庭からの星空も綺麗で全てにおいて満足でした。

The individual staff tried to be helpful though lacked agency. The villa was spacious, clean and comfortable. The grounds were nice.

The restaurant couldn’t service five villas, forcing us to dine elsewhere despite the isolated location. This proved a blessing, as breakfast revealed what we’d likely have been served for dinner. While generous, the Western breakfast appeared to consist of reheated leftovers. The adjacent beach was covered in rubbish. While not the hotel’s responsibility, the lack of anyone to clean it up made the experience unpleasant. Facilities fell short of expectations for the price point, and management presence was lacking.
