La vue, la propeté du logement. La disponibilité du propriétaire. L'équipement de la maison était parfait.

Hôte absolument charmant qui nous a très bien conseillés sur les bons restaurants (pa i oli testé et approuvé) et le parc de portaventura. Excellente communication, avant et pendant. Tout était simple et fluide. L'appartement a une vue à couper le souffle et nous nous y sommes sentis très très bien avec nos enfants. La proximité de la plage et de tous les commerces était également très appréciable. Un séjour parfait, nous gardons l'adresse!

Franchement, pour être ultra pointilleux, mes filles ont les cheveux très longs et un peu plus de serviettes de toilette auraient été bien, mais c'est vraiment un détail sans importance car tout était au top.

Excellent location right by the beach and has a superb view. The unit contains three air conditioners that kept the temperature of the unit very comfortable. Host was extremely responsive to messages ahead of time, answered questions promptly during our stay, and assisted us in booking a cab. There's a small lift to the entrance of the unit (but not down to the bedrooms) and a convenience store right downstairs for grocery basics and beach gear. The stove heats up very quickly, which is good for cooking, though we found most of the pots/pans past their useful life. There's absolutely no shortage of spoons in the kitchen.

There are some major safety issues to be aware of because they don't appear to be new or temporary. Firstly, the electrical outlets throughout the unit are damaged. There's one in the kitchen that comes out and hangs by the wires from the wall, another in one of the bedrooms that has a very broken outlet cover. Almost all of the other outlets sparked as equipment was plugged in. Use with extreme caution. Secondly, the balconies are enclosed by railings with very large holes, so small children and objects can easily fall through. Someone has put up some white plastic mesh along the railings with zap straps, I assume to improve safety. However, the mesh is old and significantly cracked, and a small child can easily peel it back and climb through. We had to lace some ribbon from my wife's hat through the larger tears so that our toddler didn't get themselves into serious trouble. The doors to the balcony also do not lock, so those with small children should be very careful in this place. Overall, aside from the washrooms, this is not a very clean and well-maintained place. You can feel the springs through most of the beds, and the unit is in need of a proper deep clean. Despite these concerns, we generally had a good time in Salou and would have given a good review, except for the series of messages that the host sent us in WhatsApp after the booking concluded (host preferred WhatsApp over Booking.com messages). Our toddler injured themselves on the broken balcony mesh on the morning we were to check out, so we ended up having to tend to their injury all morning and left in a bit of a hurry to get out of the unit in time. This meant we left our leftover food and groceries behind in the kitchen. The host didn't leave any garbage bags, cleaning supplies, or check-out instructions, but made clear through a series of quite unprofessional messages afterwards that he was unhappy with us.
