They should have provided with larger towels and may be shower gels also daily beverages if possible

I don't know what the experience was like in previous years. In my case, it was a new room, located at Katedralna 15, in the building across the street from the reception at Katedralna 18. The building was completed last year. The room's appliances were new, and the host made the effort to contact me before, during, and after my stay. The room was equipped. Cooking utensils and equipment are provided; you must purchase your own condiments and, of course, food. I don't speak Polish, only English and Spanish, but that didn't stop me from picking up and returning the keys or communicating with the host via text messages (using a translator on my phone in both cases). To enter the section of the new building where the rooms are located, you must use the code provided on the intercom.

Since it was a new room, I had to wait a few days for the host to put a second curtain on the main window since light from the patio was coming in, but this was quickly resolved. For the last two days, the upstairs neighbors began remodeling in the afternoons, using power tools whose noise made it impossible to stay there for about three hours. I told the host, but it was beyond his control to do anything. Not knowing Polish, I also couldn't communicate with the upstairs neighbors.
