A great option to visit Avignon on a budget, without expectations on the accomodation

The breakfast was great, the cat lovely, and the staff was very kind and helpful

The bedroom had a weird smell, I think they should check the air conditioning system more often, maybe it's just a matter of filters to be changed. The bathroom sink is very small, it's impossible to wash your face without making a mess, even washing you teeth can be challenging

Parking has security cameras but they are placed very high so wouldn't be much help if you needed to use the footage

Good value for money but somewhat far from the TGV station

Great value for money and incredibly clean! Although we were staying in the room that has a private bathroom, we saw that there are many showers and toilets on each floor, which seemed very convenient.

The location wasn’t ideal for us, as we travelled by train and the walk to the hostel is quite far and unpleasant, especially in the dark. The mattress and pillows weren’t very comfortable, but we liked everything else.

Unfortunately, not the hotels fault, but loud music started at 7pm over the road and went on continuously until 1am. We were ground floor and couldn't sleep.

There is a perverse lack of simple things in Hotel F1s: no towel included, nowhere to hang stuff in the showers, no wash hand basin in the toilets, no little shelf by the bed to put your phone on when charging, no lifts. The wallpaper has been identical in every room I've stayed in and has not changed in years. I paid significantly less for significantly more in other hotels on this trip.

The location was easily accessible by bus but quite far from the city center itself. The room was quite small which was fine but the shower and toilets were wierd and inconvenient. Not being a cheap place we expected more

Disappointing, especially the (optional) breakfast.

The room here was very clean and had air-conditioning, which was extremely welcome, although I had to turn it off at night because it was slightly noisy. There were plenty of toilets and showers on the floor, so no queueing. There is no mattress protector and the bed is uncomfortable. Breakfast is available for €6 per day. The location is handy for the TGV station (10 minutes' walk), although the only nearby facility for shops is a retail park, which has a Carrefour and a Burger King. Check-out is at noon, which was very useful for me.

Check-in here was a little protracted. I took the option of buying breakfast and was disappointed (although it is unlimited) at the choice available - two cereals (cornflakes or chocoballs), bread and spreads, in addition to orange juice and coffee (at my next stop, I would stay at another f1 hotel, which offered the full range of breakfast options, including muesli, yoghurt, fruit and cake). There is nowhere in the room to store luggage or hang clothing (not really an issue for a one-night stay). This is a long way from the city centre (although I knew this when booking) at over 40 minutes' walk, so if you are booking to visit the city, you may want to look at other options (I was arriving at Centre Gare and leaving by TGV, so it suited me).

The price was ok.

The rooms need some air freshener. This is only my personal preference. Location is something they can not change but it is a little bit far outside of town. We battled to get public transport to and from town.

• Parking: We travelled by car and the property was easy to find via GPS coordinates. Free parking was available in the hotel’s carpark. • Keys: Check-in was quick and easy, and we got the keys from the receptionist who was kind and welcoming. • First impression: The hotel is located very close to the supermarket and a fast food restaurant. It was quiet, clean and well maintained. There was no lift, but that was not a problem. • Kitchen & Bathroom: There was a large sink in the room. The showers and toilets were shared and located in the central part of the building very close to the rooms. They were clean, and always available. I noticed them being cleaned regularly by service staff, and they were never busy. • Bedroom: There was no lift, but that was not a problem as our bedrooms were on the first floor. We had two adjacent (tandem) double bedrooms with a soft bed and pillows, clean bedsheets and towels. The room in general was not too big, with a window that opened out into the garden at the back. • Amenities: There was a microwave in the reception area, along with a kitchen sink and dining table on the ground floor. There was a TV in each room. • Conclusion: We just needed a comfortable accommodation for the night for a family of four, and this property met all our expectations, and we would be happy to stay there on our next visit.

the pictures are waaaay nicer than the actual hotel!

it was close to the train station

even though it’s a non smoking hotel, the sink in my room had a cigarette bud in it, along with hair, which made me feel like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned. it also said that my room would come with a bathroom which was not the case- the toilets and showers are in the hallway for everyone to share.

The value for money was great. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Free parking. Cute and sweet cat named Tequilla.

Its just that the water heater was not properly working on our 2nd night and I had a hard time taking a bath.

Everything was clean and comfortable, and the room was nicely decorated. There were many showers and toilets available so that there was no wait to get your turn. The receptionist was very sweet and helpful.

Too far

it was quite comfy

on map looks much easier to get to the hotel from TGV station. However the road doesn’t have much light and it seems it is in the middle of nowhere. About 1 hr walking to the centre , but the road, again is not pleasant . Maybe best if you have a car or no traveling by yourself.
