Il Tomolo

We stayed at Carlo’s place for a couples getaway and had a wonderful experience. First of all, Carlo is a genuinely lovely person, warm, communicative and very kind. We really felt that he cared about every guest and wanted everyone to enjoy their stay. The property itself is a fascinating old house dating back several centuries, located right in the heart of the main square, next to a café that becomes a bar in the evening and close to a restaurant. Even though the square comes alive at night with people sitting outside and chatting, the room remained surprisingly quiet and private. Everything was clean, well maintained and beautifully designed, with a lot of character. The bed was comfortable, the room had everything we needed, and the air conditioning worked extremely well, which was especially important because we stayed during a very hot period. Breakfast is served at the nearby café, which was excellent, and the staff there were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. There is also a dining area upstairs at the property with plenty of extra food and refreshments available in case you are still hungry. Overall, this was a charming, comfortable and very memorable place to stay, made even more special by Carlo’s hospitality

The only small drawback was that it was difficult to ventilate the room while we were away. We found a way to manage it, so it did not affect our overall experience.

La posizione impeccabile, la gentilezza del personale e la pulizia. La stanza, anche se un po' piccola per quattro persone, e molto caratteristica e frutto di un bel restauro eseguito su di una struttura antica. Bravissimi i proprietari a preservare e restaurare tutto. Bello soffitto della stanza.

La stanza un po' piccola per quattro persone e la mancanza di un frigorifero in stanza, anche se era a disposizione un frigorifero nella stanza comune.

Dimora antica e restaurata, il proprietario super disponibile, abbiamo apprezzato i dolci di Rosanna a colazione. Posizionato in uno degli angoli più belli della città di Agnone.

Camera poco isolata acusticamente considerando la posizione rispetto alla cucina/sala da colazione.

Leuk en ouderwetse locatie in een dorp waar de tijd stilstaat.
