Hotel Villa Fumerie

Piccolo hotel a conduzione familiare. E' un po' fuori mano rispetto ad altri (senza auto è scomodo da raggiungere, come un po' tutta l'isola), ma gode di una posizione molto vantaggiosa per la baia di Sorgeto, che dista praticamente 50mt dall'albergo (274 scalini esclusi, ovviamente!). Colazione italiana con prodotti di ottima qualità. Possibilità anche di qualcosa di internazionale su richiesta.

Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. The hotel is not pretentious but the rooms are comfortable, everything is spotless clean and the hosts are very friendly and useful. Air conditioned is available for a small fee. The room was big enough, with a nice bathroom and a nice balcony with sea view. On the ground floor, there is s small bar, always open, that offers drinks, snacks and cafe. The place is very close to the Baia de Sorgeto, with thermal waters. Taxi boats are available from Sorgeto to Sant'Angelo and other beaches. The nearest bus station is in Panza, 15 minutes from the hotel on foot (but up the hill). Locals can provide transportation for a small price. Buses are reliable and provide connections to anywhere on Ischia. The owners, Filippo and his daughter Ambra, are very friendly and helpful. Ask them for recommendation on where to eat and what to do.

The wifi (provided for free) could be better, as the mobile signal is weak in the region.

Amazing staff and great breakfast.

The location requires transportation and the taxi are super expensive.
