Overall good

Overall, the stay was good. The food was fairly okay, but not very accesible. The place felt more like a traditional cabin rather than a chalet, with an old-fashioned, rural style. That said, for one night it was perfectly fine.

the room became quite cold towards the early morning hours, as there didn’t seem to be sufficient heating. Lightning in the room and not enough plugs to charge the phone, and no tv or other special utilities, like no water kettle were available, nor hairdrier.

Overall vibe was good. It was very close to the Celerina train station.

Overall i did not like it. People were not friendly, but cold. It was smelling in the room. I could not even recognize what smell it was but i guess it was old wood. It was noisy, because you could hear everything from other rooms and from outside. You could hear every step upstairs, downstairs, on your floor. It sometimes felt as if someone is entering our room. The bed was low, you can’t sit on it. Sleeping on it did not feel safe especially on the second yard, so we slept on the floor

A good value for money

Amazing value for money. It’s cheap, comfy, rooms are pretty and breakfast was surprisingly tasty with lot of food selections. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It is an old building so you need to take that into consideration. Our room was located next to the toilet/bathroom and somehow it was busy all night. So we heard every single door slam. You also hear footsteps above your head, so probably not the best place for light sleepers.

It wasn’t clear that all they had was bunk beds… And the shower in the room had a see through door 😵‍💫 And then they didn’t have a place to ‘hang out’ after 20… so it wasn’t very cosy

Wonderful stay – highly recommended!

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room is quite simple with some vintage touches that give it a unique charm. While it’s more of a basic accommodation, the cleanliness is outstanding. The bed linen, pillows, and towels were of very high hotel standard – clean, fresh, and comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Extraordinarily friendly and hardworking receptionist and breakfast attendant (same person). Small but cozy room with powerful heating and large, clean bed, and small WC/shower (no washbasin) in the room. Surprisingly nice breakfast including a range of hot beverages. The hotel is easy to reach on foot from the train station.

A small WC/shower booth was made to fit against one side of the double bed, which I appreciated, but made the room cramped and difficult to move around in. No space for a bedside table. Use of the shared facilities (washbasin) is unavoidable, which gives the experience a hostel feeling. It seems that an office is situated on the same floor, resulting in chatter and foot traffic well into the night.

A Good Bargain in a Posh Swiss Resort

Frequent city bus service from Schulhausplatz (the town centre of St. Moritz) to the nearest Celerina bus stop which is situated ca. 8 min. away on foot from the hotel. This hotel has an excellent restaurant which serves a superb dinner. Ski rental shop is also in the same building, with a friendly staff.

The guestroom where I stayed was too small, and the private bathroom is cramping. No lift in the hotel building.
