CUBE Boutique Capsule Hotel at Chinatown

The best thing about this hotel is its excellent location in the heart of Chinatown, just a short walk from the MRT station. There are plenty of restaurants, food stalls and 24-hour convenience stores nearby, making it very easy to explore Singapore and find something to eat at any time.

My biggest complaint is that the hotel is located on the second floor, with no elevator or alternative entrance. I was traveling alone with a large suitcase and a carry-on, and having to carry both up the steep staircase was extremely difficult. Guests should be clearly warned about this before booking, especially those traveling with heavy luggage. Another major inconvenience was the lack of privacy when accessing the bathrooms. I specifically booked a female-only dormitory on the same floor as reception, but the only two bathrooms and showers were located on the opposite side of the reception area. Every time I needed to shower, I had to walk through reception in my pajamas, carrying my clothes and toiletries, often passing through groups of people gathered there. This was particularly uncomfortable and inconvenient, especially since I had deliberately chosen a female-only room for greater privacy.

The capsules are usable and okay just for sleepover. I cannot imagine being there for more than two nights tho.

Bathrooms are a bit tired. My friends had a cockroach in their capsule which was not a greatest experience

It will be nice to hv bfast buffet as too early no shops is avaliable

- helpful on-site staff - good location for sightseeing - a good price, all things considered, for Singapore - clean bathroom, cleaned quite frequently

I sent two messages asking for an invoice but received no reply. I only got a response to the third message stating that they couldn't issue the invoice because Booking had to do it. It was only after I gave them a rating of 1 that the matter was finally resolved. I wasted a lot of time sorting out a simple issue.
