The property itself is a welcoming older style farm house. It was just me so the big bedroom with ensuite was perfect. But the house can accomodate another couple with their own bathroom and four kids in 3rd bedroom with bunks. The welcome freshly baked bread and bubbly was a wonderful surprise.Neil was a lovely host with many stories of the area, of his animals and so much local knowledge of great places to explore. The area itself is breathtaking, the mountains are unique and beautiful. Sunset over the mountains is unforgettable. The area is quiet and secluded. Wildlife is abundant. Many kangaroos and wallabies, wombats (including the resident wombat) birdlife including Barking Owl and Wedge tailed eagle which was a amazing to see.So many stars at night, no city lights to hide them.I stayed in Winter and it was not as cold as expected for a valley. The log fire inside the home was amazing and the supply of fire wood abundant and very welcomed

The host gave us a warm welcome, offering a tour of the farm alongside freshly baked bread and sparkling wine. Niel introduced us to his lovable farm animals: General the alpaca, sheep with their sweet newborn lambs, chickens, and geese. He also provided us with scenic walking trails and recommendations for nearby attractions. We were captivated by the stunning sunset and enjoyed roasting marshmallows over a bonfire. As night fell, the starry sky amazed us with its brilliance. It was an extraordinary experience, and we eagerly await the chance to return. Thank you, Niel and Lesley, for your wonderful hospitality!

Nice private location, quiet, brilliant views. Property needed a thorough clean. Grease all over kitchen work surfaces and fridge, mold on shower tiles etc. Neil was a good host and made us feel welcome, our son enjoyed the farm animals.
