Really beautiful and interesting place to stay. Exceptional restaurant for lunch and dinner. Great views, loved the animals wandering around. Beautiful pool.

What a divine resort. The views are spectacular; the pool is a dream; the breakfast is delicious and cozy; the rooms are comfortable; and the elegant restaurant has knowledgeable and lovely servers and excellent food and wine. We loved sipping a cocktail from the piazza bar while our daughter played on the playground and fed sheep. Just a short drive to the amazing villas of Tivoli, but you’re in the most peaceful countryside. We would love to return.

Our only criticism is not with the resort itself, just an optional activity — horseback riding with Alfonso. For experienced riders, it might be a wonderful experience; the horses are beautiful and so is the landscape. But as relative beginners, we didn’t have a very good experience. While there were basic safety measures in place (like helmets, and the two of us with less riding experience were led by ropes), Alfonso did not seem to have full control over the horse he was riding, which was acting erratically, backing up into my leg, tugging my horse around with it and getting tangled in my horse’s ropes. My seven year old daughter’s and my saddles did not have pommels for us to hold onto, and they didn’t adjust the stirrups for her size so her feet were hanging loose — i.e., she had nothing but the edge of the saddle to hang onto. Instead of trodding along a straightforward path that was familiar to the horses, we zigzagged around the property and the horses seemed a little confused and were sometimes skidding down steep paved roads. Alfonso was not very friendly and never checked in with us to make sure we felt comfortable — yes, there was a language barrier, but if your job is to lead hotel guests on horseback rides, at least find a nonverbal way to check in. Nothing went wrong ultimately, and if we hadn’t had a language gap with Alfonso and his team we surely could have voiced our safety concerns more clearly. But we hesitate to recommend this activity for beginners/kids.

A cosy cottage with a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and stunning views. The pool was a lovely bonus, and the property is very child-friendly. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

A small suggestion for improvement: it would be nice to have a few hooks or hangers in the bathroom for drying and hanging towels.

Everything was pretty normal, breakfast was good, dinner was very meaty.

The premises are quite worn out and in need of repair.
