Super comfy beds and good facilities. Easy check in and out and late check out of 12pm is great.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No rubbish bin.

Breakfast was good, pool was good, althought it was small.
Air conditioning is under powered. Rooms are too tiny, especially for 3.
- I thought I made a rwservation for Novotel - those 2 brands are mixing too easily in the booking.com. Novotel rooms supposed to be 24 sqm, while ibis was only half of it.
My wife asked extra key, and young hotel receptionist made it without asking any papers! That's about security !
Older receptionist was excellent and saved our holidays there.

If you want a place to stay on a budget, this option can be it. However, you need to know that they only offer breakfast.
The pool, the bar and the restaurant belong to the neighbouring hotel.
The staff was kind.
The fact that the bathroom had a foul smell. It smelled like a chemistry lab.
Also, the rooms are smaller than advertised.

Good value
Good breakfast
Pool was very crowded.
Lifts out of action for part of our stay
Single beds had virtually no gap between them

The tram was about a 2 minute walk from the hotel so commuting was super easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom was great. Also the lobby is amazing and super fun with all the games.
Room is a bit small, but it was enough for 2 people.

Room small but adequate nice shower. Breakfast was good both hot and continental. Cheeseboard in the bar was good.
Check in not till 1600hrs.
Great location for Halle Tony Garnier

Good location (10 minutes to the centre by car). Friendly staff, cleanliness, comfortable sleep, good breakfast, a lot of board games for children, and of course a pool (more for children), but we did not have time to use it...
And of course safety parking👍

Dirty room. Broken day bed. Awful.

La situation. Le restaurant.

The pool. Small and not like the picture. Also didn’t like that it closes at 7pm and pool towels have to be rented for an extra charge.

The room, nice and cosy. Simple really. Not much to say.
Don't expect your room before check in time. A little far from the city, but within walking distance. Lyon is plagued with pickpockets in trains, BE AWARE of your belongings.

Only point to improve: A/C in rooms not very strong

the pool is way too small especially as its shared between two hotels.

Natasha at front desk and the breakfast room servers were very friendly and helpful. Actually all the staff we met were very polite and pleasant.
The restaurant area was bright and clean and breakfast was delicious. Family oriented nice pool, Fussball in lobby.
A little difficult to find the ibis/Novotel entrance and parking from the car from the street due to so much traffic.

The swimming pool was small and crowded but better than none in a heat wave. The hotel is easy to reach by tram. The breakfast buffet was nice (scrumptious scrambled eggs). You can actually open the bedroom window (not a given any more!) There’s a book exchange.
The pool closes at 19:00 which is way too early in high summer. There should be an adult swim slot between 19:00 and 20:00 or 21:00.

Nothing, we did attend, we kept the booking to prevent the hotel from reselling our room, having refused a refund.
I did not like the fact that this Hotel refused a refund on a cancelled reservation, respectfully, it was sold as "non-refundable" and they stated that this was policy. Yet, two other Ibis hotels, booked and cancelled on this same trip under the same conditions "non-refundable" did refund our reservation in full. I guess it's not policy, just different people.

No tea or coffee in the rooms

I enjoyed breakfast, enough variety for a couple of days. Short walk away from the confluence area.
The price was higher than is acceptable to my company.

This hotel is adjoined to the sister hotel Novotel. They share two excellent restaurants and a carpark underneath.
Nothing.

Parking, 24 hour reception, near the tramway
very small room, maintenance work in the corridor outside the room, poor air conditioning. No glasses, just paper cups. lights too bright for reading in bed.

Comfortable, good value for the price. Flown from UK to see a band and the venue was 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast brilliant, with lots of variety of food. Staff friendly and helpful. Lady on reception lent us an electric adapter for our phone charging cable as we had forgotten ours.
No kettle or refreshments in the room.

Friendly staff, easy access to garage, clean room, breakfast selection, walk by the river.
2 single beds instead of 1 double bed, water fountain not working.
