Location was perfect. It was less than 1/2 mile to the beach and surfing at the point. The volunteers at the hostel were amazing! Sebastian, Pedro and Zack!! They remembered everyone’s names, they were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. We rented surf equipment and took lessons. Everything went so well. I can’t say enough about the volunteers and the staff.

There were some minor issues. The staff was VERY responsive and always tried to fix any issues immediately.

Amazing location - walk to Punta de Lobos. Very nice staff, great private accommodations, easily helped secure surf lessons, etc. affordable breakfast on-site.

I spent 9 nights in Sirena Insolente Hostel in may 2022 for a surftrip on my own. I chose it because it was the only hostel (and the cheapest option) I found on Internet that you could go on foot to Punta de Lobos surfbreak. After getting there, I was sure about this detail. The other options are in the center of Pichilemu, about 6 km from Punta de Lobos. So if you don't plan to rent a car, it may be annoying to catch a "colectivo" (shared taxi) everyday to Punta de Lobos. But if you plan to surf mostly Infernillo and La Puntilla, then it's fine to stay in the city center. I stayed in a 7-bed dormitory with bathroom. The bed was confortable. The kitchen has a lot of apparel for cooking. The vibe was good, and there were some relaxing common areas as the ping pong table and the barbecue area.

The bed sheets were dirty. The room doesn't have any kind of heating system. There were just 4 lockers for a 7-bed dorm. When I asked about that to an employee, he just told me not to worry that nothing would happen to my stuff (and luckily it didn't). The kitchen has just one 4-fire stove, so sometimes you might have to wait long to use it. For 2 nights, there were little parties in the barbecue area that made some noise until late at night, which disturbed the sleeping time in my bedroom (which was the closest one). Looking the instagram page before going, I had thought I would find a more experienced surfing staff that could help me with surfing tips for the city. However, it's not really a surfcamp. The closest market is 4 km far.
