The fact the listing states air conditioning and there is none in the rooms. Plus the staff were prepared to argue and demean their guests for even mentioning it!

Perfect location in Aix le Bain

Very comfortable bed and spacious room.

The hotel placed a fan in the room. We arrived late to the room and realised the fan didn’t work. We had our daughter of 6months with us and the room was warm, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. We had to open the window but there was quite some noise from the bars outside. Next time is important to test the appliances before placing them.

The hotel refused to wait for the guests who were at dinner so they had no room and had to return home. in fact they told the guests, don’t bother we won’t be here! Very poor service! Rude -

Exceptional

Very charming hotel in a gorgeous stone building with beautifully renovated rooms ( with A/C) . Perfect location in the historical centre of Aix-les-Bains. French breakfast was delicious and includes a selection of home cooked and local products. The hosts are exceptionally nice and welcoming. I had a very enjoyable 4 nights stay at the Hôtel de La Couronne and I am looking forward already to my next visit ! Thank you !

Disappointing

The owners do what they can with the old building but lack funding to obtain upgrades to amenities. It was only chosen based on its location after my AirBnB was found unacceptable.

It is a 2 star hotel, so within that context, it was OK for a short time with weather being pleasant. There is NO AC and design is old-fashioned much like French hotels were decades ago.

Absence of an elevator is quite a big inconvenience, so it is only accessible for fit persons.

Close to the center of the city and to the train station. The facilities / room were clean.

The noise outside in the evening. Poor isolation (but a fan was available). Don't forget to lock the door. The breakfast was expensive.

Très bon accueil, les responsables étaient très professionnels et très sympathiques. De supers conseils pour les visites, les restaurants, ... Très bel hôtel dans la vieille ville d'Aix-le -Bains. Très propre, de grandes chambres. Très bonne literie, calme. Petit plus, un petit frigo dans la chambre Très bon petit déjeuner Venus de Genève pour passer un petit week-end, nous ne regrettons pas notre choix ! Nous recommandons à 100%

Matériaux de qualité pour une jolie rénovation Hôtel de famille. Important car cet hôtel n’appartient pas à un groupe hôtelier. Cette maison fourmille de jolis détails. Le personnel est au petit soins Bref, une jolie adresse au cœur de Aix-les-Bains, un havre de paix pour un séjour très agréable. Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir.

Nuit très agréable dans un établissement que nous connaissions déjà. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, la chambre était grande et bien insonorisée. Petit déjeuner très complet sous forme de buffet. Emplacement idéal en plein centre ville, au coeur de la vie commerçante à proximité des restaurants. Un parking municipal se trouve à une centaine de mètres, donc aucun problème pour garer la voiture.
